In the first post of this forum there is a link to the OLR. From there you can find Incident Report Instructions in the table of contents. Along with a lot of other helpful information.

I'll make it easy for you this time. Here's a link.

Sorry, but where can I find the replays of last nights races? Trying to learn from the faster drivers.

There are a few ways to go about this. I'll list them in order of how I prefer.

1. Save Replays as we race. This way it's in your showcase. I find this gives the best quality replay. Less lag if there's any present.

2. Friend requests. @racingchamp30 was D2's designated replay uploader last night. He handles replays pretty much everytime he's present. In Showcase under the Discover tab, select Following. Then select Replays under the Content Type tab. If you're friends with him you'll automatically be following him.

3. Go to Showcase and select Content Search under the Discover tab. Select Replays under the Content Type tab. The replays are always labeled by year, month, day, division, round, and race. Example: 20250216d2r1r1. Also you can just type SNAIL into the search bar and sift through all the content there.

Great idea BTW studying the replays. Be sure to go to Replay Options and turn on all information so you can see there inputs. Pay attention to braking points, throttle control, gear selection, etc.. Especially the D1 guys, they really got it going on. Feel free to post any cool pictures you capture out of there. We love pics lol.

Great, thanks for the help.

Though a ways off, I wanted to place this on the radar as an open invite to all existing and new SNAIL members. This is our next SNAIL Friday Night Racing Series to start in June 2025, SNAIL-Michelin Pilot ZO6 Challenge 2025.

This series is a One-Make, similar in form and function to our Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge series from prior seasons. We will be using the '20 Corvette C8 built and spec'd to a "ZO6" "Cup" styled race car....again, similar in performance and function to the 992 Porsche GT3 Cup car we last used. Have a look through our first post. Entries are open. Any questions, please reach out. Always looking to afford more SNAIL racing and welcoming some new names.
These C8 corvettes are some bad mofos! Both in appearances and performance. I'm sure this will be an exciting series.

With a dozen racers overall through the night and up to eleven in each grid I had a great time last night. It's cool to see attendance picking up and hope to see the trend continue.

1000005914.jpg

Looking good @JamCar0ne

1000005915.jpg

@CdnSweetTee glad you could make it last night.

1000005916.jpg

@Noob01_lmdead you're fast my friend! Great racing last night.

1000005917.jpg

@JakeMk8 Nice Sonic livery! I liked the Mario Bros one from round one as well. I usually run a Bowser decal on all my cars.

1000005918.jpg

@Mac1032763 had a Dragon Ball Z theme going on last night. All three liveries looked great.

1000005919.jpg

@racingchamp30 was a regular on the podium last night as usual. There's a lot of blue in this picture.

1000005920.jpg

@cesarr64 I believe, sorry if I'm wrong. I didnt take notes this time around. Either way, I've noticed he's been improving a lot lately. Great job, sir.

1000005921.jpg

@CANOWORMS1 you're looking sharp! I like the SNAIL Spec Racing banner.

1000005922.jpg

Turn 1 was a lesson in lane control.

1000005923.jpg

@arethosetacos glad you could make it. Here's @TexHill and @cesarr64 along side of him making it three wide into T2.

1000005924.jpg

@racingchamp30 leading the pack again.

1000005925.jpg

@cesarr64 with the Ken Block livery, always a good choice.

1000005926.jpg

@TexHill and @CANOWORMS1 side by side down the front straight away.

1000005927.jpg

@Mac1032763, @racingchamp30 and I had a great battle for 3rd during the final race.

1000005928.jpg

@Noob01_lmdead and @JamCar0ne spent the majority of the final race in 1st and 2nd.

1000005929.jpg

@Mac1032763 and I with a photo finish as I managed to weasel my way into 3rd last minute. We had many back and forth position changes in the final laps.

Good luck on the mountain to everyone participating in the Michelin Pilot Cup this Friday. I'll be on reserve, not sure if I'll be home or not yet though.

It's another holiday, though not a Snail holiday. Unfortunately, I've been super busy and haven't anything prepared. Work sucks, so that happens.

My apologies for the late notice, but I will have a room open this evening to try and wrap up testing a couple of future race events, somewhere after 7PM. It is always helpful to have folks of various pace around to help best balance the Mini and Mustang. If we get a few people we can run some races. Some of the cars I am working with to put together some races include the below, stock except the Mini;

1965 Shelby G.T.350
1956 Porsche 356 Coupe (currently available in Legends dealer) - buy two if you can, will use it tuned in the future
1965 Honda RA272
1965 Mini Cooper (currently available in Legends dealer) - I recommend buying two, to have one stock
- Modified with the following - it's a full build without engine swap or forced induction
  • Wide body (NO engine swap)
  • Wide wheels, stock diameter (No aero parts)
  • All weight reductions (stages 1-3)
  • All N/A engine modifications (No forced induction)
  • Race Brakes and Pads
  • Race Clutch
  • Race Suspension
  • Fully Customised Limited Slip Differential
  • Fully Customised Manual Transmission (will be testing this vs stock 4spd...)
  • Comfort Softs and Sports Hards (also still testing these...)
  • All other modifications optional (Increase Rigidity, Brake Controller, etc)
The lobby will be public, and I will be moving round various tracks. I will update when I have the room open.

Edit: Lobby is open. Currently at Laguna Seca, will be moving in a bit.

Edit2: Lobby Closed! Thanks to the folks who came out to drive for a bit.

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - Nissan Z Performance '23 (SH) at Tsukuba Circuit - S05 Early Morning (15 laps)
Therefore, the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. @ErickGaToRR wins Prize A, and gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - Honda S660 '15 (CM) at Willow Springs International Raceway - Streets of Willow Springs - S05 Late Morning (10 laps)
This means either the car or track will be replaced for next week's line-up. @racingchanmp30 is the Prize B winner and they have the option to freeze the car or the track, or they can give that option to the Prize C winner. If they give the freeze away, they get to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @bublyman - they get whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it's confirmed you don't have any penalties. Also, it's recommended you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history, to see how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember, originality is always appreciated. Although not required, picking cars and tracks we've never raced is a plus. What's more important is, you thoroughly test any combo you are considering, before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select must not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to choose the Integra Type R as your car selection, post "Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '98". If you want to select Monza for your track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". Being specific helps us to update the lineup accurately and also helps avoid any confusion among the drivers. Also, please be sure to list the HP and Weight (LBS) of any car you select. For track selections, include the Preset Weather and the Time of the Day (e.g: S01 Afternoon) or else it will be left to default. Available settings can be found under Time/Weather Settings, when creating an online Lobby, after selecting your track.

There was an error in the data this week. @Noob01_lmdead is not currently eligible to win prizes, until we get sufficient data to justify his division placement. This means @racingchamp30 is our Prize B winner and, this week's prize winners are clear to make their selections. Good racing!

The IR Submission Form is now closed.

We have 7 incidents on file. Target deadline for reviews is NLT 10PM Eastern on Friday, February 21st, 2025.

@ErickGaToRR , @racingchamp30 & @bublyman will be included in a conversation shortly.
