I found that thread here on GTPlanet with a quick search. I haven't done it yet but I know @Buffalo_DRD and @A_Higher_Place are among some of us who have. Maybe they know a better way but from what I've read you can use the Share Factory to edit and upload videos directly to YouTube. Then share the YouTube video's URL here.

Been really busy lately, but noticed the Mini and Shelby Mustang GT350 are both for sale in the Used and Legends dealerships, respectively...

I'm thinking of picking up a used ps3 to go back in time and play GT5 and GT6. Bad idea? Will in work? I still have the disc's.

It's not at all a bad idea especially if you have a PS3 compatible wheel like the T300. GT6 is more of a hassle to get running with the multiple patches and updates but GT5 is easy to get running. Fueled by nostalgia, I did the same a couple of months ago and bought an old PS3 along with GT5P, GT5 and GT6 but it died on me two months in. The games hold up pretty well considering their age, even in 2025.

I've been eyeing that track the last times I've won Prize A as we never raced on it since moving to GT7 in 2022 so here goes my pick. Same thing with the Mini that was last used in May 2019. Not the most exciting combo to practice alone but with a decent size grid, it should make for good on track action.

The camera is alot of fun once you get into doing it. It's the best way to check out people's liveries, relive the memories, and glorify those moments that maybe nobody else was around for. Since we're on the subject, I think everyone who has a free minute should hop on to Showcase and pull at least one photo out from one of their favorite moments of the night. @Kgffy , @arethosetacos , @Worst_Driver , and myself have already got the ball rollin'. 😁 Give me something to look at out here on my 10 hr breaks lol.
On another note, anyone ever try remote play? I can operate my PS5 from my phone while I'm 1000 miles away. The lag is terrible but it's sufficient to watch replays with. Just learned this info yesterday.

Not sure if @radliffracing is still on the road or not but I thought I'd answer his call for a race picture to break up his 10+ hour drive.

My pic might come across dark if looking at it through a phone. But I wanted to capture some of the neat lighting that Combo 1 offered us. This was the most enjoyable moment of the night. @hurbinator is shown leading @superb3113 and myself in a battle that lasted quite a few laps towards the back of the grid.

Thought I finished in 3rd last night and that my strategy of no stops on hards worked until I finished with a 2:00 penalty for not switching tires 🙃 the rules stated 0 minimum stops, but required M and H, which I read as M or H.. feel like that should have been clearer. And it dropped me to a mid D after lol wasn't a good time

Those stipulations can be a PITA. At least you know where you went wrong and what to look for next time.

Had the same happen to me. If there are 0 minimum pitstops, but you're requiring me to change to a different compound tire, that counts as 1 pitstop. They should probably make text somewhere saying "tire pitstop required".

Classic Deep Forest without the stretched out hairpin

Back when the McLaren F1 wasn't a 20M cr car.

Twin Ring Motegi. First appearance in the GT series as a DLC in GT5.

The Art Morrison Corvette at Indy Road Track. I did countless laps around that track when the first GT Academy started the TT was a 370Z @ Indy Road Track. I ended in the top 20 in Canada if my memory serves me right.

Cape Ring, another fantasy track that didn't make the move to the ''new'' era of GT. There were so many variations, I really loved this one.

First corner of SSR5 here. I know we have Tokyo Expressway but the classic SSR just hits different.

GT5 aged well but its standard cars did not.

The almighty ''yeet'' corner of Trial Mountain seen here in reverse direction. I remember having chosen that Combo, 2000GT @ Trial Mountain Reverse because it was a slidey car. I think it was a one and done

GT5 not at its best. Trial Mountain wasn't in the best looking tracks and pair that with a ''standard'' car you end up with a photo that aged poorly.

Found a guy 5 min from my house that does PS3 magic. Have a pS3 slim, with GT1, 2, 3 and 4. I loaded up 5 and it looks surprisingly good. My game save from 2013 was still in the cloud.

That's awesome! I kind of remember some of those tracks. I had gt4 or 5 but I didn't play online and definitely didn't run the tracks as much as I have since joining SNAIL. I guess custom liveries weren't a thing back then huh. I do recall there being more cars and seems like more tuning parts in some of the earlier versions. There was a rally track I used the really enjoy. Long narrow and up and down hills like in the grasslands somewhere. It's a wonder I can even remember my own name sometimes lol. I just finished crossing Long Island with my two escorts. Now just have to wait til morning when the marina opens to haul thenfinal stretch through the neighborhood.

On March 23, 1857, Elisha Otis installed the first ever elevator for passenger service in a store in NYC. (He initially demonstrated it at the 1853 World Fair, also in NYC). Next time you're in elevator, it's probable that you see a sign somewhere above the controls saying "Otis" or "Otis Worldwide", now you know a little about the man who founded the company.

Exactly what I thought. Seems like an oversight on the rules design menu. And and 2:00 penalty seemed like overkill as I don't even think you spent more than a minute pitting. Not to mention being slower from the worn hards by the end. Think I ended up in 14th lol
