Made a highlights clip from the round 6 race of the Manufacturer's Cup at Suzuka. One of the few podiums I've won.

Qualified 3rd and took a push to the rear quarter panel from the dirty driver, DIDDS, after the S bends on the first lap. Then the Porsche behind shoved himself next to me at the apex of the following turn forcing me off my line and allow him through. After the hairpin I muscled him out of the way taking back the position.

DIDDS' inconsistency eventually cost him with an off track I capitalized on though it was soon given back after a loss of traction at the hairpin. I eventually got the pass on him on the next lap after the hairpin.

I held first place for a while, and it was one of my most consistent races with one collosal mistake at the end of my M tires life where I tried to recover from an off track by braking too late at the last chicane and took the wall right to the face. I may have gotten first or at least second if not for that.

The mistake allowed DIDDS by again until the last lap where he spun at the S bend. If I had one more lap I could have gotten up into second, but oh well pretty happy with the result overall.

I freeze the Lexus
I sure Like that choice!!! Some of you all may be sick the car - But its been a thrill to learn and drive for me!!! I only got 2 races in with this combo and its a thrill to drive

Can't wait ti see where Widow puts us!!! Anticipation and a lof if hard work ahead

Prize A
Ferrari Testarossa '91 524.78 Base PP, w/SH tires 538.92PP @ Kyoto Driving Park Yamagiwa Reverse S05 Sunset MDLT - 1:55
Backup Car - Aston Martin Vantage '18 595.91 BasePP, w/SM tires 618.70PP

Don't know why I'm picking that car, other than it's new in the UCD and might have a chance go more than once. Maybe. It will also knock another car "off the list" of cars SNAIL has not raced yet.

what does BACKUP Car mean ?

We take our choice of the two I assume?
The Ferrari is available at the UCD for a limited time and potentially will no longer be for sale on Sunday. If that happens, and if a driver doesn't have the Ferrari on Sunday, then we use the backup car.

Personally, I would have pulled a Top Gear and made the '66 Volkswagen Beetle as the backup car. :)

Whether a driver has the car matters not. The back up car being put in play hinges on when the UCD/LCD car drops out of either dealership in relation to when the Drivers/Grid list is updated for the week. The time the Drivers list is updated will lock in the car lineup. If the UCD/LCD car is no longer available at that time, the back up will be used.

I only started playing GT7 in February or March 2024 and have every car from the used car dealership. It's time to change that rule.

I just started and I own Zero cars but a few - but I own all the GR1-GR4 cars

only a few legends and only 10 stock cars .

This definitely throws a huge challenge for those of us starting out learning new tracks / new cars / and racing in general to throw a wrench into its 1 car or maybe this /

if you don't show up on race night prepared because you didnt bother to check the race requirements and plan accordingly is more the issue IMO

I may not have a valid opinion but the cars only 450,000 sooooo

I Vote 1 car to make it easier for me to prepare ....... my wife says its not always about me though ....... so listen to her or me or keep as is ........

"Old Cars:
All cars from 2000 and earlier are exclusively available through the UCD. It's crucial to purchase them when they appear"

I put a priority on buying these older cars over cars in the New Car Dealership as NCD cars are available all the time.

New here and a change in focus for me. I wanted all the gr cars first and achieved that - still some very high dollar cars on my want list -

Now that I joined snails it appears I need to change focus on streets instead.

Why disnt someone say that back in December lmao

So the goal is to own all the available streets - Got it - thanks for the advice Joe.

I am not a collector, rather an owner. I own the cars I need to race in Snail. Initially, that was my only reason for buying cars and for Snail that can be one or two per week. Not all are expensive, but it can be significant. Eligible cars to run in Snail was top priority, collecting came later. I don't grind much anymore as I have all the UCD cars and I'm working on the LCD, yes I have become a collector, with a number of 20 000 000 Cr cars. With the backup it's still only a 2 new car week. Luckily @Noob01_lmdead froze the Lexus.

Follow the thread (you do) and find the next car(s) required. Buy. Grind if needs be. Initially it seems daunting, but the game does have numerous ways to make $. Happy shopping.

I have been missing such a huge part of this game - i wanted to"race cars" not street cars -

Now I absolutely fell in love with that alpha romeo and feeling the suspension wind up and being able to toss it into a turn like the top of the downhill.

Now I bought this Tetosterone osa and its a blast to drive!!!!

Widow - Radcliff - You told me to stick it out - just try the street cars -

You were both absolute correct - I was wwwww wrrrrrr

As I went through the game I always used the highest HP highest PP just to get through as fast as I could- Boy did I miss out on a lot of fun - I have a lot of catching up to do

Nice pick on the Testicosa Dragon - I hope it sticks around so i can really learn to drive it - its a blast!!

I'm more of the Jay Leno type, I collected most of them, and when I get in them for racing I tend to get out on fire or looking like I was beaten by the orderlies at my retirement home. Does anyone tune cars and know of Praiano? I've been using his tunes for a few yrs and over 200 of my cars are tuned. He usually always makes the cars wider, which is irreversible disqualifies them from BOP and any snail races, so I usually have to buy the car again. Not a big deal as they're usually cheap unless they're not available in the UCD

I started this in december -

I was told anout Priainos Tunes about a month ago so I subsribed - 5 bucks a month is definitely a price worth subscribe too -

I definitely feel a big improvement between stock tunes and Priainos

Now to learn to tweak them to fit my driving style is the next hurdle -

now with snail and BOP its useless except the cups that allow tuning.
