Ferrari Testarossa '91 524.78 Base PP, w/SH tires 538.92PP @ Kyoto Driving Park Yamagiwa Reverse S05 Sunset MDLT - 1:55
Backup Car - Aston Martin Vantage '18 595.91 BasePP, w/SM tires 618.70PP
Don't know why I'm picking that car, other than it's new in the UCD and might have a chance go more than once. Maybe. It will also knock another car "off the list" of cars SNAIL has not raced yet.
1. Ferrari Testarossa '91 Max PP 539 on SH Tires @ Kyoto Driving Park Yamagiwa Reverse - S05 Sunset - (8 Laps) |
2. Toyota GR Supra Race Car '19 Max PP 642 on RH Tires @ Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya No Chicane - S09 Twilight - (8 Laps) |

The Ferrari is available at the UCD for a limited time and potentially will no longer be for sale on Sunday. If that happens, and if a driver doesn't have the Ferrari on Sunday, then we use the backup car.what does BACKUP Car mean ?
We take our choice of the two I assume?
Whether a driver has the car matters not. The back up car being put in play hinges on when the UCD/LCD car drops out of either dealership in relation to when the Drivers/Grid list is updated for the week. The time the Drivers list is updated will lock in the car lineup. If the UCD/LCD car is no longer available at that time, the back up will be used. The Ferrari is available at the UCD for a limited time, and potentially will no longer be for sale on Sunday. I just started and I own Zero cars but a few - but I own all the GR1-GR4 cars
only a few legends and only 10 stock cars .
This definitely throws a huge challenge for those of us starting out learning new tracks / new cars / and racing in general to throw a wrench into its 1 car or maybe this /
if you don't show up on race night prepared because you didnt bother to check the race requirements and plan accordingly is more the issue IMO
I may not have a valid opinion but the cars only 450,000 sooooo
I Vote 1 car to make it easier for me to prepare ....... my wife says its not always about me though ....... so listen to her or me or keep as is ........
"Old Cars:
All cars from 2000 and earlier are exclusively available through the UCD. It's crucial to purchase them when they appear"
I put a priority on buying these older cars over cars in the New Car Dealership as NCD cars are available all the time.
I am not a collector, rather an owner. I own the cars I need to race in Snail. Initially, that was my only reason for buying cars and for Snail that can be one or two per week. Not all are expensive, but it can be significant. Eligible cars to run in Snail was top priority, collecting came later. I don't grind much anymore as I have all the UCD cars and I'm working on the LCD, yes I have become a collector, with a number of 20 000 000 Cr cars. With the backup it's still only a 2 new car week. Luckily @Noob01_lmdead froze the Lexus.New here and a change in focus for me. I wanted all the gr cars first and achieved that - still some very high dollar cars on my want list -
Now that I joined snails it appears I need to change focus on streets instead.
Why disnt someone say that back in December lmao
So the goal is to own all the available streets - Got it - thanks for the advice Joe.
I'm more of the Jay Leno type, I collected most of them, and when I get in them for racing I tend to get out on fire or looking like I was beaten by the orderlies at my retirement home. Does anyone tune cars and know of Praiano? I've been using his tunes for a few yrs and over 200 of my cars are tuned. He usually always makes the cars wider, which is irreversible disqualifies them from BOP and any snail races, so I usually have to buy the car again. Not a big deal as they're usually cheap unless they're not available in the UCDI am not a collector, rather an owner. I own the cars I need to race in Snail. Follow the thread (you do) and find the next car(s) required. Buy. Grind if needs be. Initially it seems daunting, but the game does have numerous ways to make $. Happy shopping.
