The vanguard of SNAIL’s data army are the Score-Keepers. Their efforts and contributions are the beginning of data collection and necessary for SNAIL to continue weekly operations.
The main body of our data army consists of those Snails who collect replays and get them uploaded where the Steward Corps can access them to complete their weekly tasks, and where the Data-Specialists can pull the fullest data set to complete their work.
The reserve component of this march are the folks that review and analyze all that data to determine the structure and framework, otherwise known as Promotion and Relegation, the leadership uses to present the Sunday Night American Interactive League on a monthly and weekly basis.
Start to finish, it’s a troop (data) movement of epic proportions, spanning national and continental boundaries and cultures.
Eleven months ago, the width and breadth of SNAIL’s data presentation was reduced to skeletal proportions of what it once was. Several months ago, a certain Snail, one msgt-sd by name, offered to resurrect some of that data presentation. With his talent, skill and perseverance, the entire data set, and then some, has risen from the ashes.
Have you ever wondered how many points you scored over the course of your SNAIL career? Do you ask who’s completed the most races? Who's won the most races? Who’s fastest? Who’s the most consistent? Well, wonder no more. All those questions, and probably a few you didn’t think to ask, or even knew you wanted an answer to, can again be answered.
With the help of every Score-keeper, Replay-Uploader and Data-Specialist who took, and takes, the time to care, and without further ado, @msgt-sd and I would like to present the crown jewel of SNAIL Data.
Have a look around, you may find something you didn't know you wanted to know.
