Anyone interested in joining a Bi-weekly series on Friday Nights. I host the event and the GT1 Series was brought by
@euclid58
@Jakedog23
@Fallen_log
@reigninblood

Sponsored by Jakedog tuning garage. All the details on the new season, what cars we are running, which tracks , what time it starts, all is on the main Snail GT1 Championship thread.
Need more people to join to drive in the GTD class. Myself and a few others are driving in the GTLM class.

You jinxed yourself @gtr3123 :P

I got suckered in on that one too ... have spent the last three hours testing a track for the Ruff ... what a waste of time.

Sometimes things don't quite work out as expected! :(

I'm excited about Project CARS too, but I'm actually a lot more excited about another project.. Project Morpheus! It'll be a game-changer.. literally! :drool: Both Project CARS and GT7 will make use of it, so it'll be interesting to see if one of them ends up doing VR better than the other. To me, that'd be even more important than which has more cars or tracks etc. When it comes to racing games/sims, I value the level of immersion more than anything else.

I'm all about it. I've been waiting for this tech since being a kid.

Also, I dont' know if anybody is considering it, but the use of AR in gaming is fairly common now too (3DS). I think it would be super cool if a VR headset could incoroporate that such that you could actually see your own hands and wheel/shifter etc. forward of the projected race action.

Yeah. Not only that, but wife, kid and cat agro, when it happens and while it's at that part of the experience, make sure I can see my drink too.

To summarize the suggestions so far for @IceManFan_7's Prize A:

RENAULT SPORT CLIO V6 24V '00 at TWIN RING EAST - SH tires

Lotus Élan S1 '62 at Autumn Ring Reverse. Comfort soft tires.

Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 '11 @ Fuji Speedway F

Civic Type R (EK) Touring Car '97 at Suzuka Circuit East Course. RH tires

Others who can suggest, but haven't:
@Lessen
@JJLopez427
@EvoSpecX
@oharagbr19
@chevron
@DMacs13
@SolidSnake7735

I'm sad to see it go. Not because I picked it, but because it was a challenge to control at the limit. It put an X factor in the races.
I really enjoyed the combo. Tokyo isn't a great place to race (IMO) because of the walls but the RGT was so much fun. Good power and grip, but the rear-engine kept you honest. Great combo and car, I'm sad to see it go.

Not to beat a dead horse ... because as it turned out I really didn't have the C prize but I was testing the Ruff at Nurb. GP/D ... I think it would have been a sweet combo.

That is exactly where I was hoping it would go if it made it past the cut. Too bad.

Ok, so, while we're waiting on car and track picks to get finalized, does anyone know what the number below represents?

146,127,102,104,199,828,236,957,422,579,553,835,554,937,694,745,978,704,851,352,519,766,948,985,321,092,266,741,757,544,905,880,866,442,093,946,687,816,656,647,380,571,701,985,473,762,914,581,196,421,443,630,292,277,454,598,843,849,829,013,013,400,214,833,711,709,981,170,929,919,104,711,139,524,608,000,000,000,000,000,000,000

I've color coded the non zero comma groupings, just for ease of separation.

Correct answers will be awarded 20 $hells from my personal collection. 5 Bonus $hells will be awarded for anyone who can indentify the name of a number that big. eg Million, Billion, Trillion.

Answers must be posted in this thread, tagging me with the :@: by 8PM Eastern tonight. $hells will be awarded for correct answers only.

edit: fixt inaccurate comma, thanks to @Lessen 's AROCD. :sly: :P :)

The number of laps ran multiplied by total number of drivers divided by the amount of IR's, then multiplied by the total number of penalty points handed out?

I'm not bit:censored:, just having fun before the wagons start circling ...
:lol:

or...

some sort of codec for google search.

or...

total number of searches with google?

No idea, but you can't have four digits between commas...

@Dragonwhisky Total number of miles driven by SNAIL's Sunday league night across all divisions/drivers since SNAIL's inception?

Please list the full name of the car or the suggestion will be disallowed.

BMW M3 Coupé '07 at Red Bull Ring (Full Course)

[ Not to be obnoxious, I understand the reason for the year to be included.... But I believe the '07 is the only M3 in the game with the word 'Coupé' appended to it.. Being as it was also available as a sedan ]
