Couple weeks to let it get soggy, and Mike's dog will get a much needed rest for a while.
Just want to check in with you guys to let you know I'm doing okay. It's been a very tough couple of weeks, but time heals, and every day brings a little less pain. There's still ebbs and flows, which I'm sure are going to last the rest of my life, but things are getting easier to accept.
I still probably won't be back racing for a couple weeks. As the only surviving sibling, I'm swamped with helping my Mom settle my brother's estate. We want to get his home sold as soon as possible, so we're trying to get that emptied out. That's not an easy task as he had his own business as a private contractor and handyman. His tools/truck/trailer alone are going to be extensive to liquidate. He was also an experienced "horticulturist", as I think I told some of you before. I never paid a dime for any herb, and now I need to get rid of his grow room equipment. So I'll be very busy for the next week, and his funeral is Monday the 11th. After that, things will be a little more day to day, and hopefully I'll be free in the evenings at least. Up until now, it's been morning until bedtime of just cleaning, sorting, disposing, donating, etc.
Hope all is well with you guys, and I look forward to relaxing with a couple beers and laughing while running some laps. Talk soon, Jeff

Results, not really It was decided we wouldn't bother with scoring this week, small room, plus Lobban and Sgeti both cheated the second half of the night when penalties were turned off
But I still did up the score sheet for records purpose so figured I'd post it anyways. They are not worthy of Awesome or Baawesomeness

Announcement No triple posting flack allowed, as they are all very separate posts
Mike and I will need to make a decision soon regarding attendance. We realize during the summer the room will be smaller, that's a given, but we are heading into November and attendance has been down more than usual. Not sure if people are getting tired of the sim, tired of us, or maybe Gutter has been offending too many people
. We are hoping it is none of the above, but we will have to start recruiting some new members soon if things don't improve. Yes, some of you are very good at letting us know if you won't be available that week, or if you will be going away for an extended period. Others just disappear for awhile. If any of the active drivers know that they won’t be participating for awhile, can you let us know here please. Red has already given us his dates that he will be away. Thanks guys.Active drivers.

BE WARNED! These cars are not for the wussies! @yogi bear (Old Bear) and I used to have a lot of fun racing these floaty, understeery, bad boys after Monday night's official league races were done. They're very fun if you love the nostalgic cars. I'm sad I'll miss Monday night, but have committed myself to helping my mother with some estate affairs on Monday. If anything changes and I'm available, I'll certainly pop in.
Shifting gears... Again, I consider you guys friends more than acquaintances. So I'd like to share something with you. Tonight I gave my son Jackson his Uncle Ron's "Jackson" electric guitar. My son Jackson's been learning the clarinet in school, but bugging me to take guitar lessons for over a year now. He got an acoustic last Christmas, but, with my back troubles over the past year, it kinda got put on the back burner. I think this tragedy has helped light a fire under my azz to get him into lessons. I know most of you are music lovers, but I especially wanted to share this with my guitar playing buddy Mike. While I'm going to miss his company most, I'm really going to miss the pride I felt while watching my brother play. So hopefully you guy's enjoy watching this as much as I do, and don't mind me taking the opportunity to kinda show off my brother's talent.

OMG what a night last night! The private lobby update finally came out on Wreckfest. Me, Mike, Mcinnis, Sgeti and Bear spent the evening wrecking and racing, the private lobby completely changes the game. The laughter was off the charts, I’m still sore this morning!
