I had no idea what STR was and on Sunday Dec 14 I just went into a room that read STR to have a look.
But with no time to ask and with no explanation I was kicked. All I heard was "Nothing Personal" and I was gone.
From what I just skimmed over at the start of this thread it said nothing about being private and I also read all are welcome. This thread reads like an invitation, so why?

HOLD THE PHONE! Who's STR and why are they trying to steal our name? This is the most egregious violation of GTPlanet.net's unwritten copyright law that I've ever seen! We must run and complain at once. Where's a MOD when you need one LOL.

I wanted to ask everyone what your favorite new cars from GT6 are? I've gone coocoo for all of the Base Models but especially the HSV. It's my new dream car. :drool:

I like those base models too! We can run our color scheme in race cars!!!
 
As far as cars go, i am having a blast with the classic japanese cars and early 90's cars. I didnt get to use them much in gt5 but now that theyre available and dont have 100,000 miles on them im putting them through their paces.
 
30 mins earlier start is fine with me, Im enjoying the front wheel drive cars, lov how they lean in corners, Also like new m4.

STR is not S.T.a.R. I guarantee you no driver would kick you. Also, we start at 3pm CST. I was host and never had a new driver come in nor did I kick anyone. And finally we had a nightmare experience with the room glitches, so we raced only one race in my lounge (idk what it's called now on GT6). In short, you were not in a S.T.a.R room.

That being said, you are welcome to join us. Go to the OP and follow the "How Do I Join!?" guide lines. We always welcome new drivers to our league. We have an awesome group of clean, respectful drivers.

Ok this is good to know. It happened so fast I didn't get to see who was on but I am sure heading was STR so there is another group out there looking like you.
Sorry for the accusation and thanks for clearing this up. I will look for you guys whenever i have a chance.
 
Ya Coach that was what I was thinking too! 90 Jp cars are the best most affordable (IRL) performance street cars IMO & the Type-R really lives up to the hype. Get one if you don't already have 1. I bought the M4 a few days ago and it's a fine car indeed I've driven everyday since I got her. The M3 still beats me though that could just be the driver not the car. Thanks for the speedy replies fellas

I upgraded my service with my internet provider so hosting races is good to go Coach. I just tested it & it's screaming! DLspeed=24.7mbs & ULspeed=5.7mbs

Is there a "REAL" setting now for Draft. It was " Weak" & "Strong". If so, we will be using that setting. Heard there was but haven't been on to know.

yes and no not yet. It should take only an hour or two of nonstop playing to get your license. Luckily with the increased payout by the time you have your license you should also have enough $ to buy the cars. Hope to see you sunday. The physics will take getting used to also. Feels much different.
 
I read about the increased payouts. That makes me very happy. Having to wait for all of the patches and things to download makes me very sad.
