Whoa. That wierded me out for a sec...The dates on the 1st post for this round were the same as on round 4, but Fuji corrected himself further down the post.

Anyhoo, Fuji I'm probably going to be in & out of the comp periodically. My job is walloping us with OT right now, so I'm there for 11 hours a day generally. Doesn't leave a lot of time for GT, but....What can 'ya do?

So I'll try to keep posting times for the various rounds to ya' though I may miss one here or there. :(

Rob,
thanks for pointing that out! I really appreiciate that! you're really getting up there! i can't believe i missed the last round:( having too much fun.......

i won't miss this round.;)

i look forward to recieve your time Rob!

Bah humbug!!!

What are you doing that I am not :)

I think I may need to spend a bit of time on setting up my car a bit better...

Any hints?? Without giving away your trade secrets of course :)

lets see.....hints........

stiffen the rear spring rates near 18lbs, let the fronts be softer by about 2 lbs. Set rear stabilizer at it's highest with front at near half the rear's setting level.

Ride height.... setr the front near its lowest height. i have mine 3 clicks from its lowest so i can have some suspension travel. I have the rear set at it's highest. NOTE: i found this out before i became a member at the GT boards. The car runs a bit faster.

i have my toe setting at front set at toe-in. This actually helps in turning when i exit the corner. The rear setting is set at toe out to get the rear end out.

my dampers are the rear are more damp than the front. My rebound is set higher to reduce rebound travel.

i hope this helps.......

Wouldn't having the stabilizers set like that introduce a whole heap of understeer??

That seems pretty odd with the ride height :)

Thanks for the hints Fuji, I'll be sure to try them out and do some experimenting...

Gentlemen start your engines!!!

Fuji, you SMOKED my times... :( Good stuff...

I just don't know how to get that extra little bit out of the little ol' S4... Maybe I should upgrade to a WRX ;)

a lighter car is better in the turns. i fell behind in Midfield because it didn't have alot of turns. HP came into play there.

it's hard trying not to hit the walls here, i actually made it through but only shaving the wall a bit due to the responsive suspension set up.:D

See you in the next round! (already started)

i dunno about some GT players but, i apply real life tuning to the game. Here are some resourses that i've learned from and i hope you do too.

if your Audi isn't as responsive or if you want it to be a bit more responsive, PM me and i'll see what i can do to help ya tune it.;)
