Me and my team (Apex Drag Team) are looking to start up a drag competition with 2 teams competing every 2 nights for 2 weeks in round 1 races.
The winning team of the 1st round advances to the next round which will take place after all 1st round races have been completed.
Each round each team will race there opponents until all drivers are eliminated, if a team wins 1 car and the other team wins 1, the judges will choose a different car and 1 driver from each team must race in a best of 3 to see who advances.
Each team will be able to enter 2 cars into the round and the car selections will be a vote between the two teams. If there is more than a two car tie, the judges will decide which two cars will be entered. The cars will be decided 2 days before the teams race to prepare as there will be no tuning allowed during the races.
in the 2nd round each team will pick a car and the same will go on for later rounds.
RULES:
1) If any driver slips or jumps, they will get 2 warnings and the 3rd time will be a disqualification.
2) Drivers must stay in there lanes as they will get disqualified if they cross into there opponents lane.
3)Every team should bring 4 people to the tournament to race and an extra driver incase 1 has to leave (Do not have to have extra but it's there if you want to). If 4 drivers don't turn up then you will not be allowed to race unless the opponent team decides to drop a person and let the races happen.
4) None of the teams will be allowed to ghost, there will be a set ghost each race.
5) There will be 2 judges at the end of the strip and they can't be from anyone's team same as rule 4.
