I would check again. No Dollar Trees were carrying them for the last couple of years. Looks like that has changed.
I'm hoping I can head out somewhere tomorrow. I kinda figured that they'd have Hot Wheels again at some point.

Another box from Japan Booster has arrived. No one packs better:

And their buses also come in protectors:

These are truly amazing, and I cannot wait to photograph them. Didn't think I would become so infatuated with these larger utility vehicles:

And @a6m5 they are sending me the ladder truck as well. I have no idea how to photograph it, but I want to extend that ladder!

And speaking of those TLV box protectors, Japan Booster is now selling them on a separate site:

http://japanbooster.com

And they are also posting all the models they have photographed there for a sort of checklist. Great to have their pics in one place.

Thanks guys(all of ya) for the comments.

@jtl46 - Totally agree with your take on the buses. They are not new, but we find them not only very cool, but refreshing, too. Really looking forward to your post(+ pics) on the ladder truck. 👍

@Daniel008 - Loving the Civilian, also the killer photography. Really slick!

@a6m5 I am waiting to see your expensive fire truck! lolx.

As stated, keep checking. Like, every day. Chances are pretty good they will be getting some, and if you keep on it you'll score the super.
After a Google maps check, the closest one to me is 20 miles, but its by a Walmart, Dollar General and Rite Aid.

I'll just leave this here. :D

Really, really great model, so much better than I imagined it would be. The amount of detail is incredible. And no I can count lol, decided to leave out the pictures that didn't turn out as well as these ones. 👍

In Asia, some of us can relate to the some of the buses as they were used as school buses etc.

All the TLVs came from JapanBooster came with the clear protective boxes and I buy them online to keep my Tomicas as well.

Daaaamn this page has been epic. Let's ruin it:

Made in Mexico Hot Wheels GMC Motorhome I found in a flea market for $1. It's rare enough to find one, but this one is extremely, extremely hard to find with the rear bumper intact because... lets just say that quality wasn't the forte or Aurimat, the company that made the cars here in Mexico, and as such, they were extremeley prone to breaking.

Said bumper. I swear I've seen lesss than 10 of these with the bumper, it's truly horrid

On the same vein of "made-in-Mexico Hot Wheels sucked", we have this massive crack in the front of the car. That was one of the signs that assured me that this car was mexican (as this version looks exactly the same as it's US/HK counterparts), because the zamac used by Aurimat to fabricate these was extremely porous, resulting in cracks if you as much as dropped a car to the ground from your hand.

Aaaaaand in the same "Mexican HWs suck" line, we have the tampos, which in this particular model disappeared if you as much as touched it. It's also one of the few mexican Motorhomes I know of that has both side tampos in good shape.

Even if far from mint, this car is one of he best pieces in my collection, but only if you know what you're looking at. For the extreme made-in-Mexico nerd, this car is extremely rare.

Also, @RCKakashi14 I have the racing livery M1 :D

I honestly have no idea who made this, got it from a Blackpool gift shop for £4.99. Pull-back-go car, same as the Carrera GT (I will share more photos of both later)

Lotus Exige RGT rallying concept (scale is possibly 1:43 but seems a bit too small for that)
