Same here.
Wow what a difference between the little two.
Roadsport versus Superlight?
If I'm not mistaken - the one in the middle is an MBX 1:48.
When a perfectionist has slight OCD, yes.Bonnets that don't fit, axles and rear wings that sit slanted, paintjobs that already come with chips, collecting diecasts has become such a painful experience, hasn't it?
Just the sheer difference in size comes off as a bit shocking, but now that Kakash mentions it being Kyosho, that has lessened. The Exige by both brands have roughly the same difference in scale now that I think about it.
Still waiting for that hitch and two plus auto worlds from dec 23
Most HW/MBX cars are scaled to fit in the standard $1 blister card packaging. HW obviously doesn't give a crap about wheel sizes since some of their cars look goofy designed around them. Some cars scaled to the wheel size wouldn't fit on a normal blister package.MBX and HW scales are all over the place - which is what makes diorama photography a huge challenge if one is more than a little aware of the proportions of reality. For instance, the MBX Caterham Superlight is distinctly marked with the 1:48 stamp on its base. Most people take it as a 1:64.
I think Matchbox is doing one this year, which is nice as it will come out looking better than if HW had done it.Are hot wheels doing a alfa 4c yet?
The entire series do nothing for me. Casting's been "meh" at best, Spectrafrost sucks & plastic tires ..... they suck, too. If they had Spectraflame & real riders, I'm sure I'd be hunting them.Yucky choice.
*edit - You guys get me, but just to clarify: personal taste
