More dirty cars from my display shelf! This time we have a Gun Slinger, a military Jeep based on the Grasshopper redline.

It looked like this when I puled it off the shelf, this one was indeed incredibly filthy:

Cleaning up this thing was horrible, it took me quite a whiiiile to get to all the creases and small unreachable places, specially in between the bullets it carries in the back, but in the end it recovered it's shine:

This thing is a terrible casting, but it has that certain unexplainable "old Hot Wheels" something that makes these early cars very cool.

Here are the bullets I mentioned earlier, which were a total bitch to get cleaned.

And here I'm just playing around with the machine gun to make this post even larger:

And thus another one comes back to decent life. And this is quite a good piece, as I understand it's pretty damn difficult to find with the gun and the windshield still there.

So I'm still waiting on a shipping notification for that big Greenlight order I placed last week. Went on one of the listings last night and checked to see if the seller listed a processing time. It says that he only ships one day a week, usually on Thursdays. Lame sauce. :irked:

For that, I'd get those RX-7 Itashas and repaint them. Saving those poor FDs while saving yourself money.

edit: As a friendly reminder, this exclusive beast is still taking preorders:

Preorders opened on the 17th, and it's still $14. This could see itself sitting at $20+ in the future market. *

Should order up soon if you want a matte black Bentley! :)

*There is the chance it won't have the demand I'm anticipating and will in fact sit for that price like the Aston LMP1 currently does for all I know.

Hoping that's going to be the case with the Continental GT3. Doubt it though.

I don't even want to guess. Other places I visit have a bunch of folks raving about the GT3, and that old one everyone here was raving about as well.

eBay is definitely not a place to be for several months following its release some time in March. I'm just hoping I get lucky and have DaBox announce a case arrival OR Japan Booster having it with reasonable buy-it-now prices. The Buy-It-Nows may not happen yet as that could possibly cause the potential profit to plateau with bidders, hence why I'm hoping DaBox will get them.

Nice. Show us your best shots later!

ebignorijp stuff:

Currently at $5.00. Didn't think the red would look this attractive. Must be the black wheels.

Currently at $15.50. Porsche Collection IV Secret.

Pics are links. Pick and click. Try and buy.

How about missing wheel?

I questioned its legitimacy several times. That blister is warped, but nothing looks like it has been tampered with.
Highly doubt anyone would fake that error and return it to the store.

Missing wheels happen all the time.
