Still searching for that escort. And zamac ef.
Turned up some other good stuff, including one I didn't expect to see yet.

Also, did anybody know hot wheels makes 50 packs? I saw one at TRU and was like wait what!? If I didn't know it would be 70 percent fantasy models I would have bought it.

So anyway.
More matchbox Jurassic World. I believe they're doing them in sets. Because everywhere now has the same 6, and 2 of the 3 5 packs, when the card states there are 15 total I think. Wait and see I guess.

MBX Volkswagen Thing (type 131), Jeep Willys concept, Hummer H2
These are all pretty cool, not traditional vehicle choices. The Thing is the best of the 3. Also, my hummer has mad camber on the rear wheels. Look at it! It came like that. I wonder if dinosaurs like stance?

HW Buick GSX, 65 impala -
I don't love the color scheme on the GSX, but I love the car. One of my favorite muscle cars. I like the impala, but not the brown.

HW Mini Classic, 14 corvette stingray-
Had a mini in Orange, like the British green better, very fitting of the car. Love the stingray, feel like hot wheels nailed it, other than the roof and its "carbon fiber".

HW Yamaha vmax, Harley fat boy -
More premium motorcycles, all metal. The Harley bugs me because it rattles. The front forks are a separate piece, and are loose. Cool otherwise.

Best find- a friend found 2 of these. In ten packs. He bought the packs and gave me one.

Looks so good in white. Color scheme is perfect. Happy to have it now. Rather than have to find it later.

Cheers man. 👍
It's almost as if the little MBX could open up the Siku's doors and climb inside.
It really is a massive difference. If I find another MBX 4C I'll gladly open that one up and do some better pics.

I just half-arsed them as I indeed have the Siku haha. I prefer the MBX casting truth be told.

I still might get the Siku one, as it is a really nice cast, despite me being at odds with the scale.

And now, to keep the 1/64 train flowing well, my latest purchase:

Yes, I got me an Alpine. I just couldn't resist the allure of the A110-50, and I decided to bring this puppy home. And it's quite nice, if I do say so myself. While the wheels (or more precisely, the way they are made) are a bit off for me, as the gap between the wheel itself and the body looks wider than what it should be, the rest is a solid casting. Now, to also show you my two latest purchases:

I forgot bburago started doing 1/64. Nice 👍

Yeah, I was caught by surprise myself. I know Bburago did larger cars, but I had no idea that they had also started to do 1/64 models as well. And since I love the A110-50, it was a good way to kill two birds with one stone. :D

Also, I've added a few more pictures, with my two HW cars; the Lotus Espirit and the Datsun 510 Wagon.

That A110 is beautiful. Iv never heard of that company before, are they good? Judging from that I'd say yes

Well, I don't know much about Bburago 1/64 models, but they are metal-built, with a few plastic parts. As far as the Alpine goes, I do know it looks more detailed than Norev's own attempt. The Norev model is too plain, and lacks the decals on the roof as well as the ones found on the wing. Here's an example of Norev's own 1/64 version:

Mind you, Norev does have larger versions of the A110-50, but as far as 1/64 scale is concerned, Bburago easily takes the cake. Even if the wheels feel a little too loose for me...

Yeah that one is definitely not as nice. It looks decently similar, but your right, the graphic on the wing and roof really need to be there. Where'd you find the Bburago? Internet? or store?

As I said, the Norev version looks fairly plain compared to the Bburago one. It may have a better layout when it comes to wheels placement, but the detailing is average at best.

Where did I bought it? A local branch of the E.Leclerc supermarket. They also have HW cars, but the Alpine was the one that caught my eye. The supermarket also had other Bburago 1/64 models (such as a Mercedes SL and a BMW 6-Series), if you're curious about that.

Ah. I'll probably Ive to order them online. I was looking at them and they have some pretty cool stuff. Lamborghini and Ferrari are decently represented, as are Volkswagen (including 1600 squareback) bmw 6 series convertible. A 35 Ford. Citroen DS3. Cool stuff I haven't seen from other makes.

Now that you've mentioned it, I did have a quick look at their catalogue, and there is some interesting stuff indeed. The 2015 Mustang and the Porsche 918 Spyder are two very curious cars, and I would like to find one of them (or both, but that's more unlikely).

There are a few weird cars, however. Cars such as the Viper, which have wheels that seem to be far too pulled back towards the inside, and it makes them look strange. My Alpine doesn't quite suffer from the same issue...

I'd love the 918. But yea, I saw that on the viper. But it's unsurprising. Most die cast manufacturers seem to not always be perfect on what they make.. unless they're Kyosho or Tomica.. lol.

Oh yeah, Tomica and Kyosho exist to let you know that Japanese do everything as if they were treating a bonsai, especially 1/64 scale model cars. Kyosho has a vast array of Lambos, and Tomica deals with everything Nissan related while introducing you to new worlds (such as the Seibu Keisatsu world, which pretty much proves that even despite being a incredibly cheesy 1980 action series, you can make it awesome by making everything explode and using amazing modified Nissans). They are cars that are pretty much zen, really.

Nice pics of all the newly announced TLV models at the Shizuoka Hobby show on 829 Japan, if anyone is interested.

Toyota Crown wagon's are rocking. (Calling @MedigoFlame)

Haha... haha. Man, Spacegoat, you aren't helping. I'd rock that Crown Wagon in a hearbeat. And of course, the rest is incredible. Boy, this has to be one of the best TLV batch in years. Even the Prarie looks really nice, and I'd consider it as a purchase of mine.
