I'm really loosing all sense of scale with these 1:64 cars! could someone put a Kyosho next to some other desk stuff just to get an idea because they really do look like they could be anything from 1:87 to 1:18!

Fresh off the press.

That M1 is a Kyosho. There's also that M2 over there.

So I recently acquired the Heritage Real Riders Datsun 240Z and Bluebird 510 (photo below by @a6m5).

I'm digging the Bluebird. Nothing fancy about the livery but those red rims give the car a subtle pop. Can't say the same for the 240Z. I know the car (along with the rims) is an homage to the Salt Flats of Bonneville record-breaking 240Z. But on the Hot Wheel, the rear wheels throw the whole thing off and make it seem horribly unbalanced. Don't know that I'll keep it. I still don't understand why Mattel insists on larger rear tires on so many of its popular castings.

Gotta get the edge on the competition, son! Gotta indoctrinate the kiddies to think the bigger the wheels; the meaner the ride.

I think it's a totally true vision they aimed for. From a toy producing perspective, all same-sized wheels will get boring. Example: Tomica. Oooohhhh shots fired.

I think my local Toys R Us will get these models in... They better or I'll start going mad because I've waited long enough to buy some more Premium HW cars! God, it's almost ****ing September! I bought my last 3 on Mother's Day goddammit.:P

Wouldn't have bought Ignitions if they made this sooner.

Jokes. I'm glad I bought the Ignition first. Something about the Pandem's design looks weird.

The MB ND MX5 is absolutely beautiful for a mainstream 1:64.
I can't put a finger on it, but the casting seem off to me? And while tampos are perfect in placement, the design seems bit much, especially the headlights. Don't get me wrong, it impressed me for $1 car.

I've only seen those at my local dollar store called the Dollar Tree, and while I'm there maybe twice a month, look what I found there on the way home.

:P

I also loved the Highway 35 movie along with the second one Accleracers. I have a few of the cars, all of them are uncarded except this one I have hanging on my wall.

Also I ordered a sealed case of the Gran Turismo Hot Wheels.
