I mailed it from the automated kiosk at the post office. It came back postage due. If they run out of the 510, I sure I hope can grow up to be a Godzilla, so I'll be able to stomp on Mattel.Got my mail-in Datsun 510 today. Which is good, because the tracking number they gave me was no good and I was about to contact them about it.
I think it's just dusty.@a6m5. If you do decide to go for one of those GT-R's. You should definitely go for the black one, because look, it's got the sparkly paint finish that you love so much!
Trudat. I preordered the orange one & called it good. White or black aren't doing much for me right now.I don't really want the R35s, but I pre-ordered anyway because they will no doubt be far more expensive later if I ever change my mind.

I sent my card backs in a small bubble envelope via first class mail. That Datsun cost me like $30 all-in.I mailed it from the automated kiosk at the post office. It came back postage due. If they run out of the 510, I sure I hope can grow up to be a Godzilla, so I'll be able to stomp on Mattel.
I sure hope orange paint looks better than those.
Actually looking at it again, I think the white one might be the worse of the two in the sparkly paint department.
I sent in forty, so maybe it was too bulky. I thought I selected bubble/padded envelope or something like that, but it still came back. I was like half-sleep though, so maybe it was me.I sent my card backs in a small bubble envelope via first class mail. That Datsun cost me like $30 all-in.
I will jump on these models as soon as they become available. It will save me so much money to buy Le Mans winners and other cars in this smaller scale. I can't shell out $90+ for a 1:43 all the time. This is a game-changer! I saw them on the Lamley Blog, and they look amazing. If I could buy all of them, I would.I sure hope orange paint looks better than those.

Edit: Spark 1/64 - Check this out, especially @R1600Turbo Look for the 1/64 at the lower part of the page**
@Niku Driver HC that Simca is sublime. No but really it looks awesome.
If I could buy all of them, I would.
Highly doubt it will.PLEASE no chrome lip in the final.
I'm not that into race cars, but these look very cool. I ended up going for the classic Porsche(blue stripe one), couple of Nissans(red, also red/white/blue).I will jump on these models as soon as they become available. Spacedawg showed me that. What was it, 2014? You pioneer you.Nice to see Spark moving forward with more 1/64s. I've still got the Delta wing from before.
Oops.Missed that tag since you don't get a notification when it's done in an edit, but I will pre-order those when I get home tonight.
Looks promising. 👍Several hours later:
Sweet. 👍Edit: Thanks to a6m5 and AmiAmi for their "no payment until it's in stock" pre-orders, I will have the #21, #23 Nissans, the Delta Wing, the #18 Porsche, #2 Audi, and the #8 Toyota on the way in June.
That is bit high. Kyosho?24 USD

It's definitely a tough choice between the two; Norev's i8 pays attentions to the smaller details like the badges, but Tomica's has better paint quality and proportions (sits lower and wider than Norev's rendition, looks more like a proper sports car)... And Norev uses plastic parts for both the headlights and taillights whereas Tomica doesn't really care about that and adds both as painted areas.
Kyosho news
I've posted that before.
