See, I’m doing you guys a favour. That will be one less sealed car in the world.

It's appreciated.👍
RLC green/chrome Silverado, I do wish I had kept it carded. Some casting's are sexier loose, some not so much.

Maybe it looks different in person but the Silverado has always looked amazingly good in your pics. Always thought it was one of your finest (albeit pricey) purchases!

pink Gasser?

DEFINITELY SAVE THE CARD

The pink gasser went for USD15,500!! You can buy a very decent real new 1:1 car for that price! I would think a #0001 RLC BRE 510 would go for more due to the current JDM craze.

I open everything with a xacto knife and keep the cards, even dollar mainlines. I guess if you were to buy these at retail price it’s worth to keep them sealed. But there’s no investment potential when buying at current market prices. Although, the RLC BRE are going for at least 30% more than what I paid for mine.

Still, I didn’t buy these for investment. And I agree there are some that are much better opened.

It was crazy expensive at the time($85, shipped), but today.... *checks eBay* *$#@% 🤬

I honestly had no idea. It makes me very happy. :P

Pink Gasser I think is another keeper for me. In the long run, when the JDM boom subside, I kinda see Pink Gasser taking the lead, but who the heck knows. Both are true classic to my eyes. 👍

Good deal. While it's hard to see them going up in prices anytime soon, they may surprise you. Hot Wheels brand seems to be growing to me, and even if we don't see immediate increase in value, really valuable ones I think would be a lot of fun to check their value in another ten years or so. :D

I've been slacking on TLV. Need to get on that.

Edit: Then again at this angle I'm not so sure...

Edit: Top 2 are peg warmers. Bottom 3 will be hard to get at retail. And apparently the Corvette is in there to replace the Toyota 2000GT because Mattel lost the licensing on it?

Well, I need the Porsche and Ford GT, that's for sure. I'll probably make the RZ my first TLV, always loved that trim level. Divorce has been a blessing, I can indulge in whatever I like now haha.

@a6m5 - thank you.

Just signed up to AmiAmi so I can set the pre-order. I'm sure this is a slippery slope...

OK, so this has been bought on eBay. It was a slippery slope!

One of my all-time favourite liveries and even the box is liveried! Like a moth to a flame.

So worth it. Beautiful everything about those cars. Just don't bring it out where there are orange tracks nearby amirite.
for sure... I don't even own orange track anymore lol

I will admit to there being 3 seperate Rovals and a full fledged road course quasi painted across my basement floor... it does get track time there...

If you were a really kind uncle. Instead of selling the collection off, you'd give it all to the nephews to destroy by racing them on Hot Wheels tracks or by pushing them down the stairs, like I used to do. :P

That was quick. Cool score. 👍

Well, looks like my supplier is about to send invoices soon.

LB R35, Tomica Testarossa and Inno64.

Really wish i didn't blow my money out on other cars.

I am considering retiring from this hobby. It's getting too much.

You could try to just limit yourself to certain cars. I've considered going european only or maybe just focusing on CM's but then I realised I honestly don't mind spending the extra money.
