This display case is really perfect for those 1/64 model collections.

PS sorry for the lighting though folks.

Heres another train show find and one that didn't come without an argument. See the spoiler.

The seller had it on a table that was marked as everything being $1. He wanted to see the price tag on this cars package and it ended up being $10 so that's what the seller wanted. Since it was on the $1 table that's what I was intent on paying for it but the guy wasn't having any of it. That's when another buyer stepped in and took my side, saying it wasn't fair and also hypocritical to ask one price but charge a higher one. The seller wasn't happy at all with either of us buyers but gave in. Then he had a problem with me buying only one of his cars and the other potential buyer not buying anything. If it wasn't for the fact that I already paid for this car and that it could be a pretty rare one, I would've walked away empty handed.

I'm still on the fence with Inno64. I nearly pulled the trigger on the Spoon duo, but the EG's A Pillars are way too thick and the wheels are wrong. Also it seems that QC can be hit and miss, so I'm going to hang fire for now.

Yeah, saw someone with their FD2 Type R all screwed up. I'm so glad mine is fine.

I don’t think there can be an accurate Civic at 1/64 scale. QC of Inno has gone way down for at least half a year now. Too many releases and high quantities. My FD2 has a missing exhaust and it wasn’t in the box.

As I've said in this thread before, the TLV EK9 is pretty much perfect and captures a lot of details that others miss. As an ex EK9 owner I know that car like the back of my hand and their version hits the mark, Tarmac Works' on the other hand

It's a shame as I kept promising myself I'd get the Spoon cars but after seeing the finished results I'm disappointed.

I guess the only 'premium' 1/64 I've got to look forward to this year will be the TLV Evo IV.

Something has gone horribly wrong there...

You really are GTP Lamley jr.👍

Yeah, feeling slightly better about not picking up any of the Inno releases, after seeing that image. It's pretty bad.

Jr. :P Can never better GTP Lamley Senior!

Inno’s QC issues really only started getting bad after the FD2 casting was released. Before that they were pretty good, in general. I guess they just can’t keep up with the demand for FD2.

Here in HK, collectors go wild for anything FD2. I too didn’t buy any of the Spoon Civics. Mainly because I’m quitting, but also because I just know I’d get a dud. I only have the Integra’s left to pickup, which i preordered a long time ago, and then its timeout on Inno.

I'm going to another train show tomorrow and if I find anything, I'll post it here. And if not, I'll post that last sprint car I mentioned a few posts ago.
