My last haul of the year, and it had to be the very car I’m anticipating from MINI GT!

What a meh set. The R30 is just straight up lazy release, City Turbo is meh, Silvia is disappointing.

The only thing look decent is probably the Cosmo.

Exactly my thoughts.

I hit a fairly large amount of stores today. Zip. Zilch. Found the 964 from that set and that's it. Stores around here are still empty from the holidays. (and a mess)
The store I found them had a full set but I only needed the Ford and Datsun.

Exactly my thoughts.

At this point, Mattel is seriously milking the hell out of Japan Historics. I know People will be hunting the crap out of them just to complete their Japan Historics series.

I mean, I respect differing opinions and taste but Japan Historics 3 is straight up bland, the 2nd one is probably the best one, but that's just me loving plain coloured diecasts.

Dude what is with Mattel stepping up their premo card art these days? They are looking more and more beautiful.

Just wished it came in white instead of Yellow.

I kind of did too. Because then I would've been the cool guy with the one custom painted in yellow.

But then I realize I still have too many projects I haven't even started. So I'm glad they made it in yellow. Sucks to be you I guess. :P

They're also doing the new Opel Corsa, so it's good to see they're keeping on top of current releases.

Would prefer red on the Stinger. But nice to see a (smaller) model made of it.

A few recent grabs.

As much as I don't care for the id series all that much, I'm kind of interested in the BMW i8 Roadster. Only because I got to drive one briefly at work... Although I'm not a fan of the upward lip on the id car.

Have you seen Lamley preview of this set? The headlight tampos are getting worse. I was looking forward to that Subaru and Civic until I saw those horrible lights tampo.
Not a fan of the new tampo style. Looks like they were printed on a cheap inkjet printer.

The R30 from Japan Historics 3 is seriously pissing me off. Just look at it, so similar to the first release of the mainline. The painted headlights actually made it look less detailed. They could have painted the hazard and fog lights and just leave the headlight the way it is.

Been a whole lot of nothing in my area since before Christmas, though I did manage to find 4 of the 5 Door Slammers at my local grocery store of all places. Just missing the Datsun, which is not surprising. Hoping to see the Matchbox transports soon so I can get the Tesla Semi.

Yep same with me nothing new in stores like new Walmart basic sets/dump bin or new basic cars from the D and E cases. Did find this R34 at a Meijer
