Yeah, you should be able to report it by hitting the "Report Item" by the item description. With the seller posting picture of cars he couldn't physically have, I would guess that they are in violation of eBay rules. eBay should take swift action to cancel the auction.
Thanks for that a6m5.

Can't copyright a design that's not yours.
What if I called it something like Suzykey Sidekick Dual-Motor RallyXross? I'll replace the "S" emblem with a "5". It will feature "885" wheels(BBS). Money in the bank!

Thats still copyright. The point to what im wanting to do is make a concept drawing of the Suzuki Escudo and submit it to them and see if they could ask Suzuki to get the rights to use it as a Hot Wheels car.:)

What a 🤬 for taking your picture and posting it on ebay as his own lot. At least it's ended.

Speaking of eBay, came across this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-new-87...92399?pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item2ec05fb14f

Seems like Tomica just got their own Lamborghini Aventador. Two auctions going on by the same person with the same product though... No picture of the actual car though. :odd:

It's been a while since we've had some pictures of recent purchases. People run out of spare cash? :P

Also, not sure if this is rare, but looks pretty good. Apart from the wheels.

Really, i take it regulations are not the same there?
I've been kidding all along, but yes, Chinese market is notorious for counterfeit goods, and copyright violations.

Aventador, with note of the special color again. Space goat's was the same color, wasn't it?

People have been buying in this thread, but it seems a lot of the cars are coming from eBay. Personally, I've run out of the cars I have to have. Wheldon, I want one, but I don't have to have it. When the new cars hit the pegs, I do want a handful of cars like that Scooby Doo van, but it's too early yet. Same with the Hot Ones(Brat & Supra!). I have one crappy Tomica Celica race car I've received couple of days ago, but I'm going to wait until couple more eBay cars arrive until I post another set of pics!

P.S. I randomly stopped by Goodwill type store today. They got bags of vintage matchbox & hot wheel cars for cheap! They were all in very used condition, but I saw some real rare & quality cars in there as well. Unfortunately, just not any car I'm into. You guys should check out local Goodwill, if you are interested in loose cars on the cheap. đź‘Ť

P.P.S. I like the BMW. A beauty. đź‘Ť

Edit: Small picture, but this Europa seems a little nicer than the Matchbox one I have.

Seems like we're waiting for a flood of awesome pictures of eBay purchases then. :P Can't wait to see what people are going to post.

Thanks for the little preview page of upcoming Tomicas, hope to see what else they're bringing for the rest of 2012. The new CR-V doesn't look that bad as a Tomica. I'm guessing there hasn't been much news about M and P mixes of Hot Wheels? My brother told me he saw the 2012 VW Beetle at his Walmart in NY, while things like the Boxster and 2012 Z06 have only recently appeared a week or two ago here... :( Hot Ones don't seem to be selling here, hard to find anything new for those as well. How crappy is that Celica? I'll take it off your hands. :P

Hope to see what you got from that grab bag a6m5! My brother and I stopped by the one we have months ago and there was...nothing of interest. Now that makes me want to stop by again to see if they have anything good. Wish I could find some kind of diecast vehicle at my local Goodwill... (Managed to find one of those fold out city things for Micro Machines! Loved those as a kid and I used to have this little car park thing that I played with a lot) Might stop by sometime in the future, but also...my uncle works at Goodwill. So maybe I could ask him for a favor and since I work near the Goodwill factory, I could stop by their store that they have in the factory that's open to the public.

Think I'm going to tell my parents I'm going to hang out with friends, but actually go out to yard/garage sales and what not. :D Also have to stop by the open air flea market to visit the guy who has the box waiting for me! As well as the indoor flea market, haven't been there in weeks.

The Tomica Celica is in crappy condition, but I did pay something like four bucks for it on eBay. :P

I actually didn't buy any of the cars at Value Village(very similar to Goodwill). They had probably 8, 9 bags, priced around $3.99 per bag. Many interesting cars in those bags, but nothing I had to have. I'll look in that store again sometime. You never know what you might find. :)

Think you could get a picture of what's there? You never know, someone else may want something in those bags. And you could score an awesome trade with someone. ;)

Im waiting on 4 packages to come from ebay. One is a Mint Matchbox Lesney Mini Ha-Ha, the Tomica Capsule lots, a lot of Lesney and Corgi cars that include a Land Rover Defender that still has the luggage rack and a Matchbox Martini Transporter and Tomica Porsche 935. On top of that there are a couple of more auctions finishing soon and the flea market I usually go to this weekend.

It does look very similar in colour to my 86, bit hard to tell from that small picture though.

Thanks for that link as well a6, I simply must have that Lotus Exige S and Mazda RX-8.

Yea i talked to my mom about it and yea i agree with you! I probly will get it copyrighted if i can and if Hot Wheels does it, im sure i will make alot of money off it and Jordan on here may recognize me for efforts and i may become legendary on here! haha  The only problem here is do hot wheels even take submissions like this? If so how exactly would i submit them? Thats really all that's stopping me, but i will draw it ether way and before i try any of this i will post a pic on here when it's done and see if ya'll think Hot Wheels may consider it as as "worthy" of being done. đź‘Ť

Yeah, you can't do that much without a copyright or talking to Suzuki about the project:indiff:. But if you can send the concept sketch and tell Hot Wheels/Mattel that the car is a real life car and give them the manufacturer's name, maybe they can talk to getting a licence to make the car. đź’ˇ

Who knows, Suzuki may like the idea of people seeing their iconic rally AWD 2.5L V6 around 1000hp as a 1:64. It could spark something into seeing one of these as a 1:18 AuroArt scales too.

Surfing E-bay for, you know, er, chekoslovakian hipos, I stumbled upon this little lot:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hot-Wheels-Used-No-Substitutes-200-Car-Lot-/170878575859?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27c92824f3

It's one of those "buy these cars blind" deals, but I was checking out the pictures and when I put my mouse in the second picture of the lower row, this appeared:

I found it incredibly, incredibly familiar. Why? Because that's my picture. I took it several years ago, it's the big box where I used to store my cars when they still fit there. Here it is off my Photobucket account.

The dirty son of a **** used my picture in his auction, without my permission, of course. I'm betting each and every picture he used in his auction is taken off other peopleÂżs collections or auctions. Hell, just look at those redlines.

I found this amusing and disturbing at the same time. And I supose there's nothing I can do about it?

Dang, that's low down. Did you report this 🤬? Because I can smell a fraud in the cracks and he used your pics without permission, and that can be bad thing.

@A6: Thanks for the Tomica info, I want the Exige S, Europra S and the RX-8....... NAO!! :eek:đź‘Ť

@Medigo: Woah, your brother is really lucky in finding all these newer HW cars, even before they hits the stores! Even brand new stores in Vegas don't have any cars or just 2011s and the 2012 that were out already, and I thought they would get the newest ones ASAP, espically when I was a kid .

Does he have a special skill when it's comes to finding the new release cars or what? And if he does, where did he acquire them?

Yea maybe, when I draw it I am basically gonna make it exactly like the real thing but I'm going to give it "faster than ever" wheels like what most Hot Wheels have.:)

At least that's what he told me, unless he somehow mistakened it. :odd: He didn't pick any up and they were by "mistake," he just happened to stop by Walmart's toy section.

Purchases from the indoor flea market today.

They had some boulevards for $1. :D

HUGE change to my collecting habit starts right now...

Just found out about the HotWheels master set that is sold at the end of each year, which I will be purchasing when it comes available. These usually sell for around $500, but it comes with EVERY car released during the year, including all of the re-colors. This includes all of the Treasure Hunts and $upers for the year as well. Might seem like a lot of money to put forward, but if you think about the money you save on gas, etc from hunting, it's totally worth it.

So from now on I will only be purchasing errors & rare variations, Hot Ones and Boulevard cars.

How much is the master set? I can't imagine doing that, personally, because I don't want over 90% of the cars released. I can definitely see the numbers making sense to a lot of collectors though. Besides, I quit collecting awhile back. :P

Think you could get a picture of what's there? You never know, someone else may want something in those bags. And you could score an awesome trade with someone. ;)
I don't visit the place enough to make that happen. Sorry.

Ha ha ha ha haaa!!!! by frogmanlego, on Flickr

Same here, it sounds great but I'm only really interested in around 50% of the cars released this year.

Yeah, whatever. Keep telling yourself that.

Well the only place to get them is HWC.com and I've been there off and on for a few months, so now you know why. And good for you, like I care. :P

I know that. That's why I said from now on I'm only looking for Errors & Rare variations. (wheels, etc)

No offense man, but you come off as a "Mr know it all". Not sure if you are meaning to or not, just FYI.

That's actually not a bad plan R1600, saving up money till the end and buying the master set. Along with selling the cars that you don't want for some profit. (People who want it just for the Factory sealed sticker) Hope it works out and hopefully you don't get urges to go out and buy some, but...you can still do it to have a loose one of course. đź‘Ť

Great news! :dopey: Earlier in the month at my friend's graduation party, I met up with an old friend who graduated from my school a year earlier and he used to be an officer in our Anime Club. Told me he had one of the "Initial D Cars." So I asked him what it was, and NOT being an automotive enthusiast, he didn't know. But he just got me a picture of it and...

It's the R32 GT-R!!!! And I'm getting it for free! :D

R32. Nice! đź‘Ť
I got the CR-X just yesterday! As for the F40 and the Zombot i haven't even seen them at all!:indiff: I have quite a bunch of them Hot Ones, those are the ones i have been collecting the most lately.:)

Actually, that was the only time I saw the F40, and I've seen Zombot only one other time. On google, I saw a pic of Zombot with tires with red lines in them, and that actually looks ten times better. If I see that one in the stores, I'm buying it! I also think Hot One's pretty cool, and CR-X is definitely a must. đź‘Ť

I like how I'm barely getting any cars now. I might just be able to keep my promise.

Picked up (finally) a black IROC-Z Camaro, and the flashy white Fire EMS Gran Sport Corvette.

Still haven't taken pics of these, the California and the Z4 yet. Sue me.

Like kinda surprises me you just found out about it =D , The master set cars all are over eBay! Any hows, i just wanted to tell you wheel variations aren't included if you didn't know jeez..

When I go on eBay looking for cars, I click through to HotWheels, then keyword search "Miata". Unlike everyone else here, I don't browse eBay all day for various cars. :P
