FYI guys, if you ever go shopping and you see a store special (that's specifically not a weekly flyer), keep a digital copy on your phone or something.

On Friday, there was a Walmart (District) Store Manager's Special, and cars were going for 87 cents for 6 different locations. I went to 3 of them and at one of them, they didn't adjust their prices. I told the cashier about it, and she thought I was misread the ad. Truth is, she doesn't even know about the ad herself and didn't bother to go confirm it with anyone.

I'm a stubborn jerk when I am positively certain I'm right about something. I could've make a big deal over saving $2 easily, not because I wanted to save money, but because Walmart's own staff doesn't even know about the damn discount nor went to the trouble to confirm whether or not I was right.

She just kept on insisting/suggesting that it was only a store manager special for those particular stores and not this one. She just wouldn't listen when I kept repeating that this store was also included. Lucky for her I was in a hurry to catch a bus for school, otherwise I would've asked her to call up somebody with access to a computer..

..and then maybe get them to print that out and rub it in her face. I hate it when cashiers aren't aware of active sales and their supervisors even more when they don't inform their crew about sales. I hate it the most when the cashier refuses to help customers however they possibly can. I work as a cashier at a dollar store that doesn't practice customer service and even in that position I hate how we don't have a system to check for anything in stock.

I'll just take two each of the 914, Civic and the Vector W8, if there's more. If not, I'll still take these cars regardless. :)

I have a 914 disassembled with no wheels if you want one that badly.

There's a catch and that is that you have to take on a handful of donor bodies (also with no wheels) I no longer want. You may either buy or trade. :P The upside is that I won't charge you a lot.

How about you each get one? ;)

Edit: $3.50 each + shipping for the whole box. ;)

yeah I'm fine with that, at least with the ones he wants. I'll still take two of the others. 3.50 each is awesome.

Also, dude, could you pick up moar of the axle tubbing for me? :0

No one here cares enough about errors to want to obtain one from someone.

Except me. I have an extra of stripe-less M3s. Let's agree on that trade already.
;)

I'll take the last 914 and W8!!!!! :D

And curse you Cano, you beat me!!!!! :P

Edit: Gimmie that 240Z!!!! I'll take it, unless Cano wants it.

I don't want the error, I just want at least one of each of the Boulevards.

I so wish the freaking white 240Z started showing up here in the stores. I have plans for that car.

I won't get one imported from Canadá. It's gonna be the most expensive thing in the world only to come here to be taken appart. I already have mine, I just want another one or three to break.

With the increase in US Postal rates, I don't think Canada is going to be significantly more expensive anymore! I'm actually curious now. If I have time I'll get a quote on a small box with a handful of donors inside.

I wouldn't have one from the US either, unless Jason or Medigo got it, as I already have boxes developing with them with other cars I can't get over here. The main point is cars I can't get over here. And already.

Save Ferris!

Tomica Toyota Mark X:

Hot Wheels garage Ferrari Daytona:

Tomica limited Nissan K's areo S13 in my favorite color combination:

Also, I'm really developing a problem with tomica Limited Castings, They are just plain out ugly and wrong, And yet they charge for as much as a good kyosho or tamiya, Take that S13 for instance, it's way out of proportion in almost every way, Which is why i stopped collecting Tomica limited, and went for Tomica limited vintage/neo and kyosho for my 1:64 scale needs.

Someone posted a skyline set earllier, which is like the one i bought, The only actual good looking car in that set is the R31, R34...is seriously crappy looking so is the R33, R32 is ok ish..but man what is with Tomica and these crappy castings? i mean the hotwheels casting of the R34 is downright almost perfect, where as the Tomica limited is just ...wrong. it pisses me off paying so much for something and the car looks like crap. then again i got both sets for alot cheaper then 220$.. I mean, honestly, a collection is an investment, And when you pay high dollar you expect high quality.

expect this: My Ebbro 1:43 scale R34 Vspec II for reference.

And get this: Tomica limited edition Brushed metal R34.
