Birthday card I received from my folks today. Love the hot wheels card, but the buy low sell high message from my father was better than my gift!

Jason I will post the link today and again when they are about a day from expiring. Remind me when they are close. I know you want max, but from experience starting auctions at $.99 tends to bring in more traffic and generate more bids. I have done it both ways and now stick to the $.99 strategy. But these are good lots and should get people interested.

It's a double-edged sword, but on a popular commodity Jason's moving, I tend to agree with the .99 cents strategy.

That's the name of the game! Happy Birthday man.

Yeah then someone sneaks in and grabs a whole lot for $.99. No thanks.

That is of course a risk, but when people think they can get something for a steal, they start bidding, then as the price increases they stay invested. It is still a cheap lot in their mind. They see it as a dollar lot even when it is $15. It is a counter-intuitive strategy but it is the way to do it.

When someone sees something for $12, they decide right then or there if they want it. If it is no they move on. When it is cheap, they watch and follow it, and over time are more likely to convince themselves to make a run. Human nature...

Yep, understood. But I would rather not sell them then sell them for way less than what I want. So if they move on, so be it.

My strategy. I list stuff at what I want for it. (Thankfully i usually get it :P )

Its better that way, especially if its a 'speciality' item... people allready know what its worth

I'm with Jason here, very few times have I listed something with a low starting bid, I sell the stuff for what I want, too.

haha, better get a chair you all. I promise I'll post something soon, at least a few of the cars I've picked up lately. Nice Welly Porsche, that casting is very very good, and you got it with the decent wheels. I have it with truck-like wheels, it's horrid.

Hmm, first time I've seen the Silver GT2.

Same here, now I want to find this set. But it could be coming to single packs soon, I hope.

My chairs ready but im not going to be holding my breath. I checked the Hotwheels Wiki on that Silver GT2 and there is no info on it.

My other auctions will be posted tomorrow night. I was working all day (on my own time, for free might I add) on a project for work that needed to get done so I only had time to snap the photos. Couldn't do anything else. :indiff:

Edit: Ok, if you need a good laugh take a look at this.

Those are the actual Gen 6 cars? I might get those if they are. I pretty much stayed away from getting any of the COT diecasts.
