I've seen a gorillion of them..

I only saw one in stores, gave it to my dad since I already bought one on eBay.

Went to a Walmart that is close to my work this morning to grab the Cool Classics Toyota Pickup for @a6m5 and @AOS- and was forced to go through the food center doors since they don't open the other ones until after 7am. Good thing I did because I discovered an H-case dump bin near the registers on that side of the store. Started scrounging through it and near the middle on the very bottom..........$uper Twin Mill. Ran and grabbed a shopping cart to thoroughly go through the rest of the bin and came up with nothing else.

Anyway, only found one Toyota Pickup and I was ready to tell the requesters to fight over it but on the way out of the diecast isle I found another one on the wrong peg hiding behind some color shifters.

Picture later, I don't have 3G coverage where my work is. (middle of nowhere)

I am the best international buyer ever.

I placed an order on 4 cars off bobbie36 @ TTP some weeks ago. He only invoiced me for 2, I asked to make sure he didn't forget about them. He calls me today to tell me his nephew probably stole the 2 missing cars and he was ready to compensate with 4 random cars that included a TH and a Chase Hot Ones, all for $1 each, with $5 shipping on top of that.

I had a feeling he wasn't familiar with international shipping because he felt $8 to ship internationally was ridiculous. I already paid the invoice of the 2 cars + $5 shipping before this conversation, and there is no way $5 can cover the cost to ship 6 cars. I didn't like the idea of him sending extra cars as an apology and getting burned on higher shipping. The loss is too great for such a small compensation, and it wouldn't be polite nice to reject a positive gesture.

I had a great haul at TRU and a semi-good one at a thrift store. One car will make all you guys jealous.

The thrift store cars are crap and will be used as donor cars. Not worth posting.

I have a feeling that had I gone to the hobby shop 5 miles away rather than the Toys R Us 30 miles away, I wouldn't have found the Defender.

That Defender was around this area for looong time. I thought you were talking about the Boulevard Ford GT. That thing is awesome!

Nice. This one was a investment, as even the regular one was going for I think around $10 carded. I figured a factory set(which is limited to howmanyever thousands) for $3 was too good to pass up.

eBay had one I want to say for $99? I paid $94 for the Skyline + Golf + shipping. This was from that Plamoya shop, and I just had to.

Somebody should jump on this. Mine was probably $77 $66 before shipping? Way more than this Tekkamen, but mine had to be the earlier model. I must have bought the last Early-83, they are sold out now. Edit: They raised the price of my "silver" Golf by $10, too. Other colors you can still get for under $16. *never mind. my bad, they cost more due to different model(3 vs 4 doors).

Today I had an appointment, so afterwards I went to the store to browse for cars of interest.

Saw this 10-pack which has a new-New Beetle (top middle) which I wanted, but sure didn't want to buy a 10-pack for.

Has anyone seen the new-New Beetle Hot Wheels carded?



Anyway, I did make two purchases from the same store. These two 60th Anniversary Matchbox's.
Up until now (given I live in Melbourne, Australia) the only 60th Ann ones that have been in stock has been some green farm equipment thing. So I was quite rapt to find two REAL ones haha.

Just looked on eBay, apparently it was released as a new model in 2012 in at least a red colour...hmm.
