I forgot, I have an extra Boulevard Skyline 2000GT-X.

Oi, Jason.

1) I did get the Hakosuka, right?

If so,

b) is it in mint shape? like mint inside the card? That is because, golly, I have one now lol, but the thing has a very bad chip in the matte paint in the hood. I want to k now if the car you have for me is right in every aspect so I can wait for the one you are sending me to open it (or so you can open that one for me and I can pass this one on to my cousin).

It looks good but the paint on the hood wasn't completed, so it doesn't reach all the way to the end of the hood on the right side.

Upon uploading my 2012 collection onto Google Drive, I found a bunch of cars I can totally part with. My recent listing of 74 cars didn't sell. Looks like I got more cars I can add once again. Not profiting again, but at least I'm saving space.

I'll have access to a car in a couple weeks so I'm going to get a table at the Friday night meet that weekend and try to get rid of all I have that needs to go.

Pics!

Pics first over hereeeeeeeeee :0 specially before you send out the packages!

Stopped by Walmart on the way to my friend's shop to work on the Crown. Went to the pegs to find nothing new, then spotted the Lotus in the dump bin. Searched through and...BAM! :D

Got two Supras, but I gave one to a friend of mine who's obsessed with the MK4 Supra. And kinda likes F&F... But FINALLY THE 2000GTs!!!!

^ I found a listing selling 2 for $6 myself yesterday. Was tempted, but decided against it in the end. I've been digging through the Bump Arounds at a walmart and still didn't buy a single one. I need to stop being so easily sold just because "I never seen it before".

Onry if you buy (or do a group buy with your locals or something). :P

I just went back and read the last four pages I've missed. The conversation about which three cars you'd keep is certainly interested. I know my first two cars for sure, but the third is a tough one. I've got to do some rooting around for car #2 and I've got to nail down car number three. I find it so interesting the stories attached to objects. Valuable to one is worthless to another. The actual value of my three will be no more than $5 and one of them is on card, but if I went downstairs and found the first car missing from it's peg...I'd go mad searching for it.

---------------

Scored at flea market today thanks to seller being either poor at math or just not caring enough to add things up. Mostly 80-90s matchbox, but a few of them are Rare, with a capital R, still sealed in original baggies.

They came from

HERE

I didnt think to ask, but I'm going to head back tomorrow and see if the guy will sell me the bucket. He only had a handful of the cars left and I took the good ones. What use has he for the bucket.

Buy it...

That is awesome. Kyosho?

Also, starting to think over why I bought that Charger... Probably would have bought another Supra if I could... Also buy another 2000GT, but I only managed to find two.

I finally got the first two Kombi's last night but had to pay $2.50 each for them. He wanted $3 each but I got them 2 for $5.

If you can repeat that feat I'd be interested (:

I can't warranteeee I'll (we'll, I can tell Ahmed about it) buy something, but I'd certainly like to take a look (:

I nearly bought that Charger, but I passed. Supra & 2000GT were all gone. I don't go on a hunt anymore, so I don't come across any cool mainlines in person. Had I not purchased that Tamiya Supra, I'd just have ordered the one I saw online, two for just under $7. :D

I also agree on the Kyosho. $12, you gotta do it. That's a nice one.

Same here!

Paid $3.50 for mine(two Kool Kombis, two USS Enterprise for $14).

I'm jelly nao Kevin, now hand them over! :P Do they have more of the Supra, 2000GT, Charger RT and the other cars there? If they do, let me know. Thanks :)👍.

Just saw this for sale for $12

I'm thinking of buying it.

Get it! Get it! Get it! :D

I mean $12 bucks for one of the legendary McLaren F1s to add into you collection and it's a Kyosho as well for that price? Can't beat that.

@A6: I'm loving the Nissan Group C Monsters bro. But hand them to meeeeeeee.:lol:

Edit: This is slightly off topic, but do any of your stores or meets/flea markets have any of the Kinsmart 1:32-1:36 cars? Just wondering.

Forget the Kyosho Group C Nissans, Phil. I ended up ordering something even more awesomer than those two Nissans combined!

I also found my childhood bus from my town, they were absolutely cool as hell, but I'm not doing $65 today.

I'm not sure what a6m5 will think - because he'll say something else.

"Something else".

See what I mean? I now feel confident about predicting the future.
The irony is that a6m5 always calls a spade a spade. :sly:

You should open them now that you can, you're on the verge of the moral limit to open cars: 1997. And even so, that won't pay much of your mortgage.

Cano -Are you saying that any First Editions that precede 1997 (1996 and backwards, that is) should not be ripped up without a second look? I've got tons - maybe I should show a bunch to you and get your opinion.

Is that a Mercedes 2.6 and a Peugeot 206 Rallye I see? :sly:

Yup. Good eye gets rewarded with a close-up. Heh heh 👍

Woah, that Road & Track mag is weird. Is that a redesign, a Canadian edition, both, or what?

Heh - Doobs, you . . . are the man to travel the galaxy with, :sly: A sharp eye, a keen mind, and a soft voice; what more could one want in an inter-galactic companion? Well - you saw it here first. Good ol' GTPlanet.
That is Larry Webster's new vision for the venerable R&D - looks more 'Research & Development' than Road & Track - very 'online' look to this new masthead. Not really sure I like it. Guess change is hard - but as Larry quotes Churchill himself as saying that 'to improve is to change' . . . so they must think the change is an improvement. :dopey:

IIRC - the subscription copy had the old masthead - this is the newsstand version.

Weakest sauce. Ever.

Try harder!
[/SIZE]

Did I say something about calling a spade a spade?

Not a variation unfortunately, it's exactly the same as the one you posted.

Which is the First Edition. There were many others - hope to have them all one day.

Rgghh, yeah, just as I remembered. I'm still chasing a big one to try to reproduce.

What? :scared:

Finally got the Kyosho Nissan race cars. After repeatedly failed attempts at haggling on eBay for those cars, I had given up on them. Then this one seller comes along with both I think for $25. Cha-ching!

NO thinking! When you look at cars like that you buy them. If you can't buy them you think.

I didnt think to ask, but I'm going to head back tomorrow and see if the guy will sell me the bucket. He only had a handful of the cars left and I took the good ones. What use has he for the bucket.

Couldn't you ask him the bucket as a freebie, if you take it all? Plus he saves on paper or plastic if he allows you the bucket as a shopping bag.

There's no thinking required. Buy it!

Exactly. See it - buy it. There should be no thinking when DVAs buy cars. Start thinking and before you know it you'll be tied up in 'nots' and thereafter in a straitjacket. Remain bent.

Sixty five bones! I can't do it(but you already know this!). It was Tomica Limited Vintage, so I doubt I'll ever see it cheaper either. :(

Edit: There's been that nostalgia series Hot Wheels at stores? I wasn't really interested, but I had completely forgotten about the Flash Gordon Drag Bus. I hadn't even really looked through those! Probably too late to start now. :ouch: :banghead:

Yup. Good eye gets rewarded with a close-up. Heh heh 👍
Haha. Both are a must! (even though I already own the Benz:lol:)
Man I love that Peugeot! :D Kind of a odd color combination but I certainly hope Kit Kringle gets one of these soon, I need this car! Curious but does the rear hatch open?

As for the Benz, I already have it, got it about 5 1/2 years ago at Kit Kringle and it still looks just as good as it did when I first bought it. That thing has gold paint and silver handle bars and to be honest I thought about making a reverse one with silver paint and gold handle bars!

If I recall correctly, isn't that a Porsche Targa I see in the top left of the photo? :sly: My brother has that car. :d

First ever flea market buy... prices were high and not much to choose from. I would've bought more but he charged nearly double on a lot of cars.

Paid $10 for this. Removing the tampo off the 930 and wheelswapping that Cobra.

Ouch. Most of those would sell for $.50 to $1.00 here....

Anyway, here is what I have available. The Hard Rock Cafe Cadillac set just out of photo is $15, but be prepared to pay $$$ for shipping if you want it. Sticky notes with pricing are for the Friday meet, so ask me if you see something you want. I'll give you guys a deal over what I plan on selling them for....to a point. $.50 cent cars are still $.50, sorry. ;)

Oh, and if you see something that you and I agreed upon trading or whatever a while ago, don't kill me. I have a bad memory and may have forgot to set it aside. :P
