10 Years

So I managed to miss this by a day, but hey I manage to forget my own birthday sometimes…

Anyway, the stats. Ten years. Been a moderator for 9 of those years. I’ve been registered here for >40% of my life.

First registered at age 13, towards the end of middle school, when the site looked like this, and now I’ve graduated college and have been working in nanotech for the past couple years and gone through five revisions of the GTP website. Still as much of an Apple fanboy as I was when I first joined (Apple’s closing price that day was $6 per share).

12,000 posts, which I’ve been pegged at for quite a while as my posting rate has declined – but I still check in many times per day.

Started, coded, and ran GTP Insider for a while but that didn’t last too long. Unfortunately WayBack Machine doesn’t load images – the site should have a huge image on the left per an excellent design by ALPHA. Speaking of ALPHA, I’m so happy I’m still able to find Kiwi vs. Sage:

Anyway, I was going to ramble on more, but now I’m just happy I found that image. Thanks to everybody for making this my second home the past 10 years, and here’s to 10 more (which should be easy to guarantee considering PD’s release schedule).
