Isn't a completely random choice almost the definition of fair?

It is, however like I said earlier, I am not sure it is completely random. With these random tickets there seems to be a connection between what you get and the last car you bought/won, at least in my experience. When I next get a random ticket I plan to test this further.

Interesting theory,I haven't got this 1000 ticket yet although I think I'm close

the last car I bought was an Opera S2000,and the last car I won(for the Polophony Digital Cup) was the 350Z GT4 Edition.

I've seen these posts, I think you're clutching. My NASCAR was 100% unrelated to anything I'd done in the game so far.

It might be just coincidence, but what I have got has been related at least three times, maybe more I can't remember. I don't know if there is a link, but it is possible there is due to the way things are coded. I am not losing anything by looking into it.:)

I believe you ARE clutching... got an RUF. Could be better, could be a LOT worse. But I have only bought a Mazda Miata (for some early race) and then an Italia and a LP670 Super Veloce. Don't see the connection...

But fair is fair. Seems I have an equal amount of envy AND pity looking at what we all won! And for the poster that thinks random is only fair if we ALL get a good car, I suggest you NEVER walk through the doors of a casino!

The ugliest car in the game...Hyundai HCD6 concept...yay.

I got my ticket at something like ~4500km (and no i didn't drive 2500km in b-spec, I'm only lvl 8).

Got that red Toyota f1 car looking thing, I use to love the car in gt2 but it had a different paint scheme I think..

oh and I got the ticket at 100 WINS... have like ~3500kms

I got a top end R34 skyline. A standard, but looking good in Bay Side Blue... Reminds me of need for speed underground 2...

Does anyone know if painting my R35 GT academy car will vanish all its decals?

Mine just came in and I'm about to open it..(please be kind to me PD...)

And we have (I'm on level 19 if that means anything) a Hyundai Coupe FX '01 in sunny yellow :ouch: I feel like punching something now...

I'm not sure I even got this ticket.:odd: I've done almost 8,000km, and I don't remember any gifts for anything other than the events I was doing at the time.

You might not have, it might not count certain things, eg special events, as it took me until I had done about 3000 miles before I got it or it could be bugged, I don't know.

That could make sense. I've spent probably 1000 of my 1500 miles driving a Nissan GTR500... and I ended up with a Nissan GT-R ('97) as a prize car

The game will need to have an algorythm to tell it what it should be doing which means it can't be completely random. So there will be some kind of pattern, whether the pattern is easy to spot or not. Judging by this only being used to generate 'random' cars in a game it can't be that complex though and so Ash32 may be on to something.

Yeah but that algorithm is seeded by random input - internal timings, the actual time, recent controller input. For all intents and purposes, it's random.

Maaan.

For the 1000 ticket i got a mx-5 :(
For my birthday i got a little japenese car with 100hp :(
For starter rally car a lancer 1800 fom 81 :(

I decided to use the birthday glitch after getting screwed by the '1000 ticket'...A Suzuki Cervo SR '07 (61hp)...REALLY!?!?

The way I see it, it's PD's fault I'm using the exploit.

BTW it's a serious waste of a premium car.

Finally got the ticket:
Either you have taken to the track 100 times or more, or your total distance driven has reached 2000km.

But it seems random, as i've driven close to 5000km and completed over 137 races.

And ofc i didn't get any of the cars i hoped for, got a: Skyline GT-R S-tune (R32) '00

R8 Race Car.

It served it's purpose well wen I received it. Some of you guys got shafted pretty good though.

Looks like i best check my profile when i get back. I should be close to getting this by now. Fingers and toes crossed i get a good one. 👍
