***** - The Maserati MC12 has been allowed to run the entire ALMS season under invitation from IMSA, but will not be allowed to score driver or championship points. It will also not be allowed automatic entry to the 24 Hours of LeMans if it wins GT1 class.

Maserati has confirmed they will run 1 entry in the entire season however, with a 2nd entry coming later in the season.
