After receiving information about this event from Eric (NISM0_SKYLINE) I figured I'd get up early and go down there to check it out. I was going to put this in the DYSAGT Shows and Events but with this many pictures I thought against it. I took a lot of pictures so if you would like additional photos of one of the cars I probably have them somewhere.

This was probably one of the best meets I've been to in recent years, a bunch of friendly car guys drinking coffee and making up stories...good times.

That Buick was awesome :dopey:. I stayed until everbody left to hear them all. I have to admit, I didn't who to look for when I got there . They had good cars this week but it changes every week, I think those two Group B cars are going to be hard to beat. It was a good one though, the Janis Joplin one is a reacreation I think because the real one had normal headlights and different wheels. The real one is at Henry Ford though.

can you provide big ones (and every picture available of) the wide-fender Fiat, the 911s, the Le Mans and both De Tomasos?

And I demand pictures of every monster blown-V8 in attendance. ¬¬

Ya it sort of dawned on me on the way there I had no idea what you looked like. Maybe next time we'll plan that one out better. I was pretty impressed with the show, thanks for letting me know about it 👍.

Caution, they are huge files. I hotlinked them so GTP wouldn't explode upon opening them. I included all the other photos I have of the cars as well. I don't think there were many big bad V8's, wasn't really that kind of show.

Yep same here, atleast we were in the same place so that counts for something. I did see your Mini though behind that X1/9, I was in a yellow Focus if you saw that. No problem, its always good to pass on shows. I know of a good one in Ypsi every first Saturday of the month if your ever bored I guess. The Ypsi one has a lot more people and some wild stories, Buck Mook is there every month if you know who he is.

Caution, they are huge files.

craking awesome, thanks (:

EDIT: pretty good camera too, quiality stuff right there (:

EDIT 2: Oh man the Slantnose with Fikses was mindblowing, thanks!

Went back to the show yesterday morning, a lot of the same cars were there but some different ones showed up too. I met up with Eric (NISM0_SKYLINE) and his dad which was pretty cool It's always good to put a username to a face. Anyway here are the pictures, they didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped.

Great photos of the X1-9s (really like these cars) and you're right, that car is a Fulvia. Another favourite of mine! Really need more meetings in the UK like this...

👍

Never seen side repeaters like that before. Are they just reflectors, or actual lights? I would assume you didn't look that closely, so whilst I put my anorak back on, if you see it again and it crosses your mind, let me know please!

Really need more meetings in the UK like this...

If you ever find yourself this end of the country on the first Sunday of every month, come down to Goodwood - they hold meetings similar to this and McLaren's Cars and Coffee meets, called the Goodwood Breakfast Club. They have themed meets - Soft Top Sunday, Supercar Sunday; the next one is the Christmas Cracker on the 6th December - so if you bring an appropriate car you can park either on the track or in the paddock. Otherwise you just park in one of the normal public car parks. Start at 8.30, finish at midday, entry is free.

In the meantime, get talking to local clubs/garages of any sort, they might be able to find a large meeting you never knew about.

Sorry I ignored this Roo. I have no idea whether they are lights or not, the owner wasn't there today so I couldn't see it. I'll definitely let you know if I come across it again.

From today!

The highlight of the show for sure, the HPP Daytona SEMA show car. I was floored when I saw it!

when does this take place? i only live a few miles away and cant believe ive never seen this!

It's like 8-10:30 on Saturday mornings when it's warm, they'll probably start again in April. I can let you know.

You didn't know about the Trans Am Turbo? the one with the Grand National engine?

How'd you miss that?

i've seen some of them during the dream cruise but idon't go out there that early. i've got 100 pics on my cell phone of the cruise i'm gonna upload soon.

So I finally stopped getting home at 3am on Saturday morning and I no longer have to go into work on the weekends either (hooray new job!). I had to pick up Kari at like noon so I thought I would head down to the show at 14 & Woodward Saturday morning before I cruised over to her house. There was an awesome turn out and I'm glad I made my way down there. I'll shooting for the same thing next weekend too!

Stopped at the car show yesterday morning before going to pick up Kari to head over to Windsor for the Red Bull Air Races. It wasn't very busy, I think the weather put some people off.

Unfortunately there are a lot of those horrid Corvettes running around the US. There was a group of the and the Concourse last year.
