Plea to all idiots, I understand a late dive from behind by a pro but please, from 10 cars back, 1st lap, from a rank amateur, REALLY!!! 5 races last night, starting around 5th and 6th for each and 4 times coming last after corner 1 at Interlagos, after being rammed at the speed of light, courtesy of these blokes. Of course due to the ridiculous rating system ( Which hopefully will be improved today ), a couple of sectors later they are all green and have wiped any time penalty received from the naturally slow speeds in low corners later in the lap. They are sweet whilst I am at the back of the field!!!!! Damage activated would not be such a bad thing.....

Interlagos is specially nonsense clearing penalties, as the slow righthanders turns 8 and 10 clear your penalties when you are not on throttle from the breaking point into to the apex?!?!?!

Damage active works both ways... You would have your car damaged too, as many of this trolleys just do it because they can't control themselves driving around other cars, they would continue to hit you.

F. ex. yesterday only run once that race for lack time, as I found a pretty sweet spot with my Citroen GT on that track, qualified third, sacrificed a place on the start by getting out of the way of possible "last of late brakers wannabes". Sadly spun on the second lap, all by myself, no external aid. At least didn't took anyone with me.

Exactly

Exactly re: slow corners, as far as damage is concerned, getting rear ended would occasion less damage in most cases than the missile that hit you. You are right however. Maybe a much more clever algorithm to allocate appropriate penalties for a rear ending someone particularly on the first lap of a race!
