purchased rims gone after buying and installing mud/snow tires. It should save the rims and show up again when I change back to road tires right? Happened to me it didn't, had to buy and paint the rims again.

I just get confused with the way they label the cars nowadays. When I last owned a BMW the ...25 in 325 stood for 2.5liter.

The last time I owned a BMW...ooh wait I don't
 
My 02 Subaru is weird. When I add the Stage 2 turbo the chart shows it has more hp then having the stage 3 installed, however when I tested it at Daytona, it only achieved 192 with the stage 2 at 530 hp but got up to 197 with stage 3 boost but 523hp. I dont get it...
 
This might be old, but some of my friend's Bspec drivers don't have a helmet icon (on their button on the friend's profile page) and when I click on them, they all have white suits.
 
Don't think I saw this one listed. I am trying to set the surface water to 100% at Eiger. (weather=100%; surface water=100%; weather changeability=0%), however surface water sets to 0% and stays there. tried several different things to get it to change, but no luck. We have a championship race on Monday, requiring 100% surface water, and this will take that away. These days I fear updates. They do much more harm than good.
 
After 4 times re-entering the lounge, and once restarting the game, I finally got the surface water. I am getting to the point where I wish they'd just add cars/tracks, and stop doing everything else. Just creates more issues than those resolved.
 
i'm a weirdo and i switch to cockpit view (usually use chase cam to place opponents location better) at the carousel on the nurb so i can better judge the cars actions. when i switch back to chase cam, the in car engine/exhaust sound remains for 10-20 seconds.
it does it with every car i have tried, and i tested it on other locations on the track and it didn't happen. WTF?

Stage 2 makes it quicker in the mid range.

I also noticed that, set it to 90% and crank the rain up as hard as mother GT nature will allow. It soon reaches 100% due to the rain.

The connections to the online servers took a hard nosedive. I think this is the worst I've ever seen it, it's just widespread disconnect errors or total failures. One night I was disconnected from my own lobby, by myself, in the settings menu, and had only been there roughly 15 minutes working on a car!!!:crazy:
 
Well I noticed that in some cars, if you limit the power to 581 in the tuning menu and you go into the garage, your car will say it has 580 HP or 582
 
When I was tuning my prescarlo,the car is not showing over the specs of the car and not even at the speed test when you first come in

But the SRT4 Neon is the same as far as turbos, more HP with Stage2 than 3 but it performs better, right on pace with its HP specs with stage 2 added. Put the Daytona tune on it and it keeps Pace with 225MPH Cobras in the draft.
 
Today was a pretty horrible day for me & GT5 bugs/issues. Perhaps I'll leave GT5 alone on weekends until it sorted out.

I had multiple black screens, exit lobby freezes, loss of grip issue, lag, transmission/shifting issue when downshifting & many server disconnects.

I was in a friends lobby within freerun and as soon as the countdown reached 0, I was kicked out straight to the XMB. I laughed & then ended my GT5 session at that moment.👎
 
This is probably a bug since they put the interiors in standard cars, but the Ruf CTR Yellowbird has 2 side mirrors in the interior view, when the car only has one side mirror (left one).

Turbo Stage 1 - 30kgfm > Stage 2 - 28kgfm > Stage 3 - 26kgfm.
Abviously when it comes to the power it's the opposite..

I felt like the loss of a few HP on the SRT-4 is not bad compared to the traction you win on the acceleration. On sports softs I really struggle to creep off the line in it when using Stage 3 turbo because the wheelspin causes the engine to rev high and simply burn all its power on the tyres, while when using Stage 2 I managed to keep the wheelspin low (and the engine rev low too), so in case you enjoy to troll drag tuned Mustangs with an FF car, I recommend trying turbo stage 2.

Something that could rather be called a bug are the turbochargers of the Suzuki Cappuchino '95, because the low RPM one is actually the most powerful one and giving the most PP.
I assume they did the limiting of the turbos to make sure the Cap is not too overpowered compared to the other K cars... like it wouldn't be anyway.

Has anyone else noticed wonky shadows, where only the shadow of the wheels and driver show on the ground?

Yes it makes you wonder why a stage 1 is even included because you are never in the 1 - 3000rpm range when racing!

Last night I was in an online room on Tokyo R246 using a Yellow Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX, sports air filter, comfort medium tires, no abs, 3:2 brake balance, G27 steering wheel.
I pressed the handbrake button while going full throttle on first gear and the car starts accelerating while intermittently braking the wheels (don't know if front or rear or both or side to side) and on top of that 1st gear becomes twice as long, making the car accelerate up to 140 kmh [hypothetically: only got up to 90 kmh doing this, but I've gone up to the rev limiter on second gear, pushed in the clutch, shifted to 1st, revmatched, pressed the handbrake, released the clutch and accelerated full throttle and it showed the car hitting the rev limiter while going 140 kmh] in first gear.
seems like handbrake + manual tranny with clutch + WOT + 4wd = gears are twice as long?
Try it on your GT5! (with clutch and manual tranny enabled on your steering wheel)
 
Something new I noticed since 2.08...

WRONG TIRES in HUD of Replay in Seasonal Events: When racing 650pp Nurburgring (#4) or in Real Circuit Tours where AI are on Racing Hard tires, if I use Sports Softs or Racing Mediums the replay HUD will still show me on Racing Hard tires. I've now confirmed this several times.

Some intermittent issues from previous versions, still annoying in 2.08...

Sometimes it restarts a race and doesn't display anything for the first few seconds, at the 'Ring it flings you blind into the first corner by then. Also that random pause/no pause at the line when racing a ghost is annoying, seems like if you cross the line at the same spot as the ghost it'll randomly not pause which can mess up a gear change or braking point...
 
Still getting black screens when said online service restored. Gt5 is starting to be crap

That has nothing to do with the lobby list servers, that is either a bug in the game (the logo black screen), or someone in that lobby has a bad internet connection (black screen on race start, that means its having trouble synchronizing the the connection due to a unstable connection to a member in that lobby, usually due to a foreigner.
