you go between the 3rd amber and green, a fine line between a red light and a close to perfect reaction time

Well, it would depend on the car as far as the brake lights are concerned.

Like he was saying above. It would be hard with collisions off to see the brake lights and plus some cars don't have them.

i used to run on monza where the tree car would sit in ghost and hit his brakes 4 times, when you saw the 4th light up you launched, worked good! but good to know, it wont affect me much but i feel bad for 3k.

From what I've read it looks like aero has been increased so things should launch harder in theory.

I dont do 1/4 but i did a quick speed test run. Auto and kept everything the same except max and min df on a gtr

The one with minimum downforce had the faster 1/4 time BUT the one with maximum downforce was faster in all the parameters before 1/4 (0-60, 0-100?...) just slower to the 1/4

I'm noticing that to (I only run 1/4). DF seems to be taking effect on most cars by the 270-300 meter. BUT there are some cars now that are really benefiting from the DF taking effect so quickly...I'm not saying what..but... the speed 12 is now a vette killer online.

So I think the question for 1/4 guys is do you want a better 0-60 (in some cases 0-100) or do you want better top end by giving up that DF at the start.

I'll find out tonight but in 3k top end is as important as the launch, finding the balance is key.

Its usually a given that wings only help if you if you use it for the wheelie glitch.
Otherwise, wing slows you down, even if it gives you a better launch... it takes too much away from top end.

word of advice, do not get the new gtr, non broken in 837 hp, but no weight reduction, so it weighs 1700kg. the new honda super gt on the other hand, non broken in 714 hp and 1100kg, shoud run 9.6xx or better in my mind.

Too late. I got them but haven't used them yet. I got 17 computers dropped off to me that my buddy's computer shop didn't have time to fix. So i am doing that at the moment. I hate when some people have no idea when their virus protection says "virus found in blank system 32" then go and delete everything in the system 32. No i have to re-write the whole system 32 by hand. I don't have my flash drive that all I had to do was basically copy and paste it back.
