The car is Austin/MG Metro. It came to market in year 1980 so not made before 1980. It had V6 engine in its 6R4 Road car version which was also two seater car and raced in WRC with factory support as 6R4 Group-B rally car.

I have nothing wrong with your car choice originally. I thought the MG Metro 6R4 was a cool hatchback. Though, if you were actually thinking of the general Metro, then I think you should have been a bit more specific with some of your answers.
