It looks like the coupé version of the truck they stole the Viper V10 engine from :odd:

[edit] With Skyline headlights.....

I like it in it's own way, however I think the bonnet should be a few inches longer, might just be the perspective but the Charger had a looong bonnet and I think it would look more Charger esque if it did too, not much longer, just a little bit.

For some reason the body on that thing looks different from the regular 2006 Charger that I've seen. It looks good because the other ones I saw just looked like a squished Magnum. This actually looks like it's own body style, as long as they make the stock version with the same body style as this minus the wing and stuff, I think I will have no problem with it.

Live4speed, I agree with the hood; just a few extra inches and it would be perfect.

a few extra inches and it would be perfect.
Is that what your missues says  :D. Sorry I just couldn't help myself.

I've seen that other Charger too, but I think that was an older consept.

Ew. Narsty. C'mone Dodge, why don't you actually start putting an effort into designing something nice for once?

Holy crap she's back. I think it should maintain the look of a fastback, the way it was originally designed. That is, if Dodge is trying to make some sort of ugly retro statement anyway...

I think the front end could use some improvements. Otherwise, I only have one complaint: The name. Pleeeease don't call this a Charger. This is not a Charger. This is a modern sedan with a Hemi.

Most of my complaints about this are really complaints about the new Charger as a whole.
One thing about this version though; you can't call it a Charger Daytona if it doesn't have a 4 foot wing!

A few extra inces eh. well just make sure it's behind the front wheels. I like my front overhangs as miniscule as possible.

I dont like that it has four doors. I mean, this thing is suposed to be a muscle car. A muscle car is a big sedan with the rear doors choped off and a big engine shoehorned under the hood. Dodge has plans to make a coupe version of the charger, But i think instead of replacing the intrepid with this, the four door version (this car) should be called the interpid and get the six cylinder, and the 340 hp 5.7 liter hemi. And the coupe should be called the charger and have the 425 hp 6.3 liter hemi as an option.

Doesn't anyone see the resemblance to the R34 GTR Skyline on the front end??
At first glance, thought I was seeing a Skyline.
It's ok but the styling is not original and too familiar.

I think the Skyline thing is stretching it a little thin. Other than a vague resemblance in the shape of the headlights, I don't see much resemblance.

I think it's badass. If I was looking for a big car I'd buy one in a heartbeat. And make that obnoxious Top Banana Yellow if you're not going to bring back Limelight Green

Agreed, the lights are only Skylineish thing aboutthis car, oh and it has 4 wheels :). I wouldn't say it looks too familiar, it fits into the current lineup of Dodge's/ Chryslers yet is easily identifiable, it looks well proportioned exept fot the bonnet which I think could be a couple of inches longer as I said before.

I like it, but is that black patch on the bonnet (or should i say hood?) standard? That's the only part i don't like.

All they need to make that thing perfect is give it a (functional) AAR Cuda hood. I'm sure aftermarket ones will be coming shortly.

Wasn't it Sassy Grass Green?

this will be the mustang killer. i haven't seen the rear, but im betting it's alright.

i like the front a lot.....thought i do agree it could be a little longer.

Yeah but on first glimps of the car, thought that was a Skyline of some sort. Maybe my vision is failing at my old age.
It really doesn't do the old car justice though. Like the new GTO, fails in the original concept of the car and what it stood for, raw power above and beyond the mere cars on the road.
Maybe because I've lived through those days, witnessed all of the muscle cars in their prime and able to enjoy them in reality, on the streets, this just doesn't cut it for me. :yuck: :indiff:
Call me old school, I'll take the real thing over this any day.

"Sassy Grass" was the name used on Chryslers and Plymouths. On a Dodge it was called "Go Green".

The Dodge counterpart of "Lime Light" was "Sublime".

This is Lime Light/Sublime.

Sassy Grass/Go Green is darker.

It looks nice enough, but why dig up the coffin of the Charger?
Let it die already:irked:.
