Looks better than the Mustang '05... I'll give it that (BTW I get head aches looking at the '05 It doesn't seem right...)

However, both cars seem to have similar styling (Maybe its just the hatchback looking design thing... )

BUT... I would take one in black or red (I think the car looks good looking at it again and again I'm getting used to it unlike the Mus. 05)... Hot wheel colors never worked for my brain... Gives me headaches...

yeah, black would go nice with the grille and headlights.

...Maybe my vision is failing at my old age.
It really doesn't do the old car justice though...
Maybe because I've lived through those days, witnessed all of the muscle cars in their prime and able to enjoy them in reality, on the streets, this just doesn't cut it ...Call me old school, I'll take the real thing over this any day.

1959? You'd be like 10 years old at the peak of muscle-cardom!

But the cars were still around in the 70's so he'd be in his teens while they were still popular and driving about in new/good condition ect.

styling, looks like its having an identity crisis as if was trying to be somthing new but got yanked back from the charger nameplate. just my opinion anyways. and its looks great in black rolling on 20's. bling bling yo' :dunce:

id much prefer this over a 300C 👍

I tought this 1 was Charger RT which I hate by the way
I don't know, maybe I'm wierd or something, but I think that thing looks badass. I'd buy one in a heartbeat if I was looking for a big sedan. I love it. The cockpit and center stack are mediocre, but other than that I think it would be a hoot to own.

That car is butters.

Hmm, seeing those pictures makes me thing it's not as bad as I thought. I know for a while I liked it, then I didn't, and now I like it again. Only tick I still have with it is the four doors. If they offer a 2 door model, then I'll be happy.

I'm worried that I'm in the minority here, but I prefer the the original Charger.

[sarcasm]
When is dodge going to put a Hemi in a Stratus or a Caravan or even better a Sprinter.

They need to put Hemi's in more cars, then maybe they'll start selling.

Guy posting above me. Thank you. I think it's very very ugly.

I've been inspired to do a PhotoChop of a 2 door model when I get home from work. Ugly 4 door... what are they thinking? If the price of a tricked out magnum is any indication, this car will be a little north of $40,000

I woudn't call it a minorty if you like the original. Most people at the Charger forums I go to feel the same way. I'm not saying this new one is bad (especially the SRT version, a black one. :) ), but the old one will always be my favorite car of all time.

From the back, the charger looks like a Galant or something. I don't need to speak on the front half, and yes the side view does resemble the 05 quite a bit.

little bit bigger than a stang... probably what we're looking for.

I might stretch it a little in the midsection and the front and rear overhangs need to be a little bigger. Not much though...

A worthy Mustang competitor if they did it right... put it about 320-350 hp and price it right around a mustang. Style it a little differently and put in a High Output V6 and call it a Challenger. We could have an AAR with a nice stripe and little black spoiler. And don't forget the obnoxious colors. :D
