it's part of a $23,000.00 aerokit. And by rice i mean spoiler on rear decklid with a FWD vehicle.

I believe someone already covered this in a thread over in the GT4 section. There actually is a reason for spoilers and wings on wrong-drivers. An FWD car naturally understeers, so setting the car up to oversteer (example; a huge rear anti-roll bar, stiffer rear springs versus the front, etc) can aid its low speed handling. However, nobody wants a twitchy car at high speeds. A wing solves this as they really only become effective at higher speeds. It balances the car at higher speeds and gets rid of the twitchiness that helps in low-speed situations, twitchiness that would be disastrous travelling over 100mph.

#1. It's a door conversion, not new doors. #2. I KNOW ITS AN FR CAR, A RICED OUT ONE (AS AN EXAMPLE) WOULD BE A FWD/FF WITH A SPOILER ON THE BACK.

I'm pretty sure a conversion like that does mean extra weight. I could be wrong, but it's a guess. As for your reason number 2, I already covered the second half, but does that mean by your definition no rear-wheel drive car can be considered "ricey"?

Not really, since they aren't keeping door parts, but merely putting in different ones and setting it up different. If it was too heavy noone would be able to lift it up, so logically it would actually be lighter. As for the rice, I was clarifying on some comment from someone earlier on. And yes, like it or not, throwing a 15lb spoiler on the back of a civic that can barely top 115 is rice. If you wanted downforce and stbility you would just increase the angle of the wing.

Oh gee, sorry, the entire time you were using a general "front-wheel drive car" reference, you meant a specific stock Civic. Now it all makes sense.
