I think if the headlights were made kind of like the 2003-type Accord, I'd like them. Other than that, I think its style is quite aggressive, yet subtle. Whereas the most recent Accords look more elegant and subtle. Eight generations of the Civic with this forthcoming model? I don't know. Maybe the Civic has been a sort of performance car bundled within an "econo-box." Also nice to see how the Civic has survived all these years. With this car getting 200 horsepower, it will be up there with the Chevy Cobalt or Cobalt SS.
I'm sure devoted Honda fans will really want to look for aftermarket parts to mess up the 8th generation Civic any way they like, and if 200hp is the most powerful engine available, this may well be one of the sportiest sport compacts/subcompacts out of Japan. My only complaints are the headlights, and maybe the grill. Other than that, it's not that bad. Just remember. For every uglied-up car, it could have been much worse. And you have to admire this car if its performance overshadows its looks. We'll see when Honda dealerships sell their little baby to stores in America. I'd be interested in how a Type-R variant will be like.
