2010 GTP Automotive Calendar -Poll - **Please read ALL instructions FIRST**

This is a massive multiple-choice poll: where everyone picks each individual photographer’s best shot of their selections. Their selections appear beneath their name in the poll. The best of each photographer will be what makes it in to the calendar for their particular month. More information on this is available here: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=122000

Please only vote for 1 of each photographers entries. There are 11 different photographers! So you should have 11 different choices! (unless you are one of the photographers, of course.)



If you end up voting for the persons name (which I have entered both as dividers and so people know who they are voting for...), your vote will be disqualified. Check to make sure you have not done so.

Please be careful when voting, it may not all load correctly for you. Moglet's first 5 appeared to have some of their selection boxes above instead of below when I loaded the page. It may be different for you. In most cases, the selection box is on the bottom left of the image thumbnail. Please leave a reply if you experienced any difficulties and in case you have voted wrong - please tell us in some way. Also, McLaren's last entry, a Ferrari 360 CS, sometimes seems to load, sometimes not. Try refreshing if it does not load for you. *Special notes:
-The images in the printed calendar will be the full size images, without a watermark
-Syntax Error's Cobra shot will not have the watermark on it. It simply has that because there wasn't one without it available at this time.
-homeforsummer has a few variations on the same shot, the single seater shot - which will also be edited and the silver car in the background, removed.
-McLaren, I made yours into thumbs, I thought they were a bit too large for the poll. (there were a few others that were larger from other people - but not quite as big)
-LongbowX also has a few variations of the same shot
-Moglet's first 5 images will be edited slightly if any of them get chosen

The most surprising thing to me, is that McLaren's R8 shot is winning. I really thought everyone would be voting for the F40. I am stunned.

I am aware of that, but I also think it is the best of McLaren's shots.

One thing I've thought of now is that at the moment the votes are leaning towards my slightly noisier shots in terms of ISO. I don't know if it be possible for them to, if choosen of course to be run through someone's copy of Noise Ninja? Seeming I don't have it anyway. Might improve the quality of the shot's. That is if they get picked

I would have thought that the shots you picked were the...un-noisy ones. But if it does win, then something like that could be arranged, I'm sure.

Well they aren't unbearably noisy, but I feel as though those particular shots are two of my strongest. And offer something different to what others have provided. But yeah that'd be good, it just might make them look a tad better, it's more noticeable on the dragster than the LP560-4.

They definitely do offer something different, I'm sure there are people who are fans of Drag racing here... In the event one of those mentioned wins, Noise Ninja will be applied. ^^

Haha...I'm alright with most of the results. Not everyone shares our opinions, you know. Mildly disappointed with both McLaren's, and with SPhilli911's results - but it's not over yet. And I can get over my disappointment. Fortunately, I also came up with the idea of the photographer override too.

Wouldn't it be the same amount of work regardless. But, I think I know what you mean. Don't have to wait for some of the loading.

The VW shot is very striking, so I'm not terribly surprised. The competitions are always relative...so....

I believe so. Once the polling is finished we'll need to sort out the fine details regarding the use of logos, names etc, how monies will be passed to Jordan, and all the boring stuff that needs to be got right.

That's because all my pictures are teh awesome!

When I took the sequence of which the top Evo is one, someone behind me commented on the shutter noise the 1d3 was making at 10FPS.

I feel like an idiot already for asking this, and hopefully it's not too stupid of a question... Lol, I was just wondering... There's twelve months in a year, from what I can remember at least. One car per month should make twelve different photographers, but there's only eleven to vote for. And after looking around a bit, I noticed TVR&Ferrari_Fan isn't on the list to vote for. Why?

Now, if I had a choice to get rid of a month, I think it'd be December (not because of you Moglet, you had lots of amazing shots) simply because then we could just skip over that month and this 2012 crap will never happen in a couple years

I think the F40 shot would be so much better without the over-edited HDR-ish stuff. It just spoils a bit the picture IMO. So, I am not surprised at all, the R8 headlights is a great piece of photograph, it has a great mood, subtle edit and it is very eye catching (just though I would drop my contribution). 👍
