2010 gtr

There is no key, its a push button start. That just controls the locks and trunk.

Yep, I know. Was just giving you a hard time. :sly:

The only thing that I didn't like about the stock GTR was the exhaust sound. It was so quiet and sounded like a vacuum when you revved it. With the new exhaust system thats on it, you can hear this thing from a mile away, such a great sound to it too, and rumbles at an idle. I'll do some vids in the near future. The thing thats weird about GT5 is non of the exhausts on the GTR sound mean at all, even the race exhaust.

I agree on that, I usually use the GT-R Black Mask in GT5, and the exhaust sounds are so mild I have to check the volume lol It isn't as raw as it's expected to be, didn't know this was an issue in real life as well.

Wow, amazing car you've got there. What's your daily driver? I would have thought the GTR would be a nice car to drive to work in (though I've never ridden one myself). I understand about wanting to keep it low mileage, though.

Thank you. It is a great car for everyday use, the transmission is smooth in automatic mode, but it has this 'lets go' feeling like it just wants to rip your face off. Reason for not driving it all the time is because I wanna keep the miles down and keep it in pristine condition. Everyday driver is a 4cyl. Chevy Malibu that runs about as much hp as my lawn mower lol.

Lol ohh. Wow I didn't know they looked so similar.

Just looks like the GT-R one doesn't have a panic button. The Altima one can also slide out a key from the back if needed, not sure if yours is the same way.

Blackbird.

Well I guess that's what AWD, launch control, and paddle shifters will get you. :P
Launch control wasn't used there, so against a 2012 or '13 GTR (530bhp and launch instead of 485bhp) it would of been worse. I'm getting the launch control that's used in only the 2012 & 2013's (called LC4) and will run 2.7sec 0-60 on stock street tires. The 'launch control' in the 2009-2011's isn't technically for launching by definition of Nissan and can do harm on the transmission. Nissan knew people were going to launch them anyway so they added a designated launch mode in the 2012's that is safe, easier on the transmission and is covered under warranty. The AWD system and twin clutch gearbox is hard to beat, even when you are running a lot more HP. I'm still a bigger fan of a 6 speed manual though.

Haha, cool man although I can't see myself being in Florida, or the U.S, or even the northern hemisphere any time soon!

Yeah a transmission like that also helps. :P

A ride? You can't even stand next to them at the dealerships here. :scared:

There is one in our showroom at work, only because the deal fell through though. Sales manager has a heart attack anytime somebody goes near it. I did get to drive it once, never got to touch the gas though. I "rolled" down the length of our shop.

Great looking cars and one heck of an amazing sound. Great purchase if you ask me.
