Yeah i've seen them flash their brights, just seems odd to have the blue light aside from an indicator for spectators..

It's probably to warn slower cars just to be a little more cautious when they are near, and I guess it could also be some medal of achievement if you want. Especially if you're a cup car with one. That would be hilarious. :dopey:

Because when one of those 36 comes up on a backmarker and they see the blue light in their rear view they know they won't have a hard time getting past compared to cars without it. Also helps to know the car flashing its lights at you is a different class car and not one trying to pass you for position.

A few updates

Manthey #18 is in the lead, with the BMW #1 in second

Sabine is in 11th

Kaz is 1st in class and running 27th overall

BMW #107 is in 96th ;)

Almost 8 AM.

Weather update:
Rain clouds that would have hit in around an hour have dissipated. Looking to rain closer to around 4 hours now. Clouds are becoming slightly thicker. Humidity is 86% and the temperature is 12°C or around 54°F. Wind speed has been dropping and will continue to for several more hours, as will humidity. Also projected to become cloudier over the next few hours.

Just curious-
How difficult/easy would it be to tell that a turbo hose was broken?

A lovely night pic of Yamauchi's car :D

I love how the Yellow Audi has Michelin tires while being sponsored by Falkan Tires

Maybe there's something in the regulations about using certain tires. Maybe Falken tires don't work as well for longer endurance races. Don't get me wrong, Falken tires are good, but they're still newer to the game.

Like F1 forces teams to use Pirellis. So... who knows.

Anyways, I think I'm off to bed. Getting quite early here. Almost 1:30 AM :dopey:

'night. :gtpflag:
