2012 Bahrain Grand Prix

Connection playing up again, Niky?

Just ignore the pink elephants...

-

No comment from Vettel regarding fuel... Big question... How many cars will have scrutineers crawling over them to check fuel level legality?

You just can't predict these races this year.
Kimi had a good run, and maybe if he wasn't held up by Grosjean, he might have passed Vettel under DRS, and may have got the win. Just maybe.

Demon Drone
That doesn't excuse Nico for doing what he did though.

Schumacher taught him well.

Yeah baby! Yabba dabba do! Vettel back on top where he belongs!

👍

Very happy for all three guys up there. Kimi very humble... disappointed... When asked about the pass on Grosjean, he said: "There were no team orders..." maybe next time there will be. at the very least, both drivers should be aware of their team-mate's strategy and tire load-out.

Lotus now 3rd in Constructor's. There's an outside chance they could be one of the top two this season.

New drivers standings, mega gasp.

By the third race, guy who was always third was in the lead. Now the guy who's always fourth is... Quick... Who is always fifth?

How is this possible, Jenson has at least 25, he won the first race.. I think wherever these are from have their data wrong..

EDIT: Tree'd :ouch:

Mark Webber has had four fourth places and he's leading the championship. Unbelievable.

Or so that list would suggest. Hell no he ain't leading.

Those are definitely wrong, these are the proper standings:
1 Sebastian Vettel Red Bull Racing-Renault 53
2 Lewis Hamilton McLaren-Mercedes 49
3 Mark Webber Red Bull Racing-Renault 48
4 Jenson Button McLaren-Mercedes 43
5 Fernando Alonso Ferrari 43
6 Nico Rosberg Mercedes 35
7 Kimi Räikkönen Lotus-Renault 34
8 Romain Grosjean Lotus-Renault 23
9 Sergio Perez Sauber-Ferrari 22
10 Paul di Resta Force India-Mercedes 15

That has to be wrong. Hamilton had 45 coming into the race and Button had 43... Webber should have 48 now (4 x 12). Unless I'm missing something.

Edit: Tree'd so much I'm in the forest.

Great drive from both lotus cars... Blisteringly fast starts. Sad that Raikkonen didn't win, he had a good chance there :(

Nonetheless still an awesome result, good to see Raikkonen back on the podium :D Hope to see more Lotus wins soon :)

If that's off the BBC site, its about as accurate as a sausage.

I think what those standings have done is forgotten Australia ever happened. That's why Button's only on 18 because it's discounted his win.

So, are they going to continue the trend? Maybe Webber will win next race, or Schumacher, or even Hamilton.
I hope one those 3 or a Lotus win the next race.
