Changing my picks as I'm not happy where my previous placed in qualifying.

1- Sebastian Vettel
4- Felipe Massa
10- Lewis Hamilton

I went with Raikkonen, Massa, and Vettel IIRC. I would've liked to pick Alonso, but I don't have any CP's built up yet.

Ahhhhh

Thought Quali was the deadline..... :(

Unless the rules have changed (Which I don't think I have as I did this before Australia), you can re-select your choices if you think you have made a mistake. The most recent choices made (Before the start of the race obviously) will be the ones for which points are calculated.

I'm sticking with my choices. I still don't want to use any consecutive picks. Massa is looking good for a possible win.

Sorry,

Should have explained myself better,

I'm happy with my picks but people are now changing as Kimi didn't do so well.

Any potential gain I would have possibly got is now going to be less.

I went Lewis/Massa/Webber before FP2

Ive changed mine after quali, my picks are now Alonso, Massa and Hamilton..

My picks are Alonso (Good), Massa (Good) and Raikkonnen (Not so Good)

Hopefully Raikkonnen can turn it around tomorrow.

At least I get 8 points for picking before P1.

With the likelihood of rain at some stage in the race, I will be sticking to my pre-fp3 choices.
I don't think a drying track was a good enough indication to change.

Could someone try to explain to me (a definition would be a start) what a CP (Consecutive Pick) is? I've read and read again the original post, but it's like i'm getting details (i understand we can earn/spend them) before getting the starting point - maybe its so obvious that i don't see it :(

The consecutive pick allows you to pick the same driver two races in a row. If you don't have any CPs and pick the same driver twice in a row, you get a 10 point penalty.

If you change one pick later; are your other two you chose before practice still eligible for bonus points?

I picked Webber, Raikonnen and now Hamilton instead of Grosjean

^Yeah what was that all about?

And I like Vettel. He basically trolled Webber and Red Bull.

So much butthurt from Webber too.

Australia's picks: Vettel, Webber and Hamilton. (1, 2, 3 in Malaysia)

Malaysia's picks: Raikkonnen, Alonso and Massa. (1, 2, 3 in Australia)

:grumpy:

Thank you. :)
I think the origin of my problem was that i thought the whole thing is just a prediction contest, which left no room for such things. As i understand it now, it appears that the game's paradigm is a bit different, though, with real life races being the data provider that replace the dice in a board game.
Maybe there has been an original Fantasy thread that explained all this. Entering by an event thread can be really confusing.

You really seem to be under the impression that Vettel's cheap shot was both good for himself and the team.

I bet you think he is larger than the team, don't you?
