Did it at Silverstone, didn't really add much to the spectacle. The challenge was literally about 3 cars who had half a lap between each other. So, I've been thinking about the issue regarding Porsche and lack of entries.
Last year they ran the 'GT3 Challenge' or something along those lines, in Britain, for older 997 Cup cars. They only got 6 cars on some circuits, but adding that series to the Carerra Cup GB would get us around 20 cars. Also, the promise of TV time may get more cars into that second class. I know older cars and newer cars on the same track is usually frowned upon, even though I like the thought of it, but still. (I get that the reasons are sort of valid, however.)
Thoughts?
The reason for that was because most of the teams had sold their cars for the 991 this year, same again this year another new cars and theres how many supercup series's in the world? theres only so many cars porsche can build. So, I've been thinking about the issue regarding Porsche and lack of entries.

He has a habit of taking things out of context (and being confusing).Maybe I'm not understanding what you're saying, but I never said Porsche don't build enough?
No i don't the reason was clear, The reason the cup was asked to support was because alot of the teams had sold off their 997 cups cars then they have to wait for porsche to build 991 cup cars.He has a habit of taking things out of context (and being confusing).
I don't think it'd add to the racing as such. The performance difference would be fairly major, and I couldn't see it making the racing any better.
Thanks for the tips buddy! What time will the pit walk be? I still have to drive there from Newcastle, lol.@JacoJa have an awesome day, and bring your own food and drink... SEVEN pounds now some of the crappy burger van food is... And £4.50 for a pint out of a plastic cup!
Pitlane walkabout is early, and theres always a big queue, so if you are planning on seeing any of the drivers up close and personal, get queing early!

Can't wait for the racing to start. Will mainly be in the Hailwoods grand stand but may have an occasional wander. Will be in a Jeff Gordon/NASCAR Star Wars T-Shirt if any GTP'ers wander also.
It starts at 10 past 9. You should be in the queue for about 8:30, I reckon.
@hsv010 Ahh you see, that'd suit me. I love a bit of multi-class racing!
But yes I see where you're coming from. Just, in my mind, an additional second division of maybe a half dozen cars is better than just the 13 we have now. Each to their own.
I managed to join at 8:15, so I'm at a reasonable spot towards the front. Hopefully it'll be worth the speeding ticket I got on the way down.8:30 and the queue is half way done paddock hill!
Thanks Clark 👍
PMhey sorry to be a bother but does anyone know where i can catch a stream of the three races tonite ??
Is BTCC on tv.?
