So the updated World Rankings were announced today, the top three at the World Cup are top three in the World so that's Germany 1st, Argentina 2nd and Netherlands 3rd, Colombia 4th Belgium 5th Uruguay 6th Brazil 7th Spain 8th Switzerland 9th with France finishing of the top 10, Costa Rica climb 12 places to 16th while England fall 10 places to 20th..

Portugal dropped from 4th to 11th. More realistic, but still not enough.

Well they're 12th in the Elo rankings. With Mexico just ahead in 11th.

Croatia is 17th-one above Mexico, despite losing to them . Australia meanwhile drops 14 places to 76!

That's why you should never trust the FIFA Ranking, the formula is there and it is self explanatory but nobody understands how it does work
