Welll everything is finally over for the national finals. I must say that I was absolutely amped rhe whole time. Ive never been to a city before and I was completely in full tourist mode lol. I am beyond thankful to have been given the opportunity to compete in the national finals. I was given the opportunity to .meet people who I will never forget get and will forever respect win or lose. Everyone was helpful to me and willing to pass on knowledge that theu felt would better me so win or lose im proud I made it this far off of only playing GT for 10months lol.Breylon Lawrence-Williams is the name and it was an absolute honor meeting everyone. Probably a tie for 12th and it's being settled Hunger Games style. That's my best guess.

I imagine that's a safe bet. I will not confirm nor deny anything, but I have become aware that there may be a concern with at least one passport - you know who you are - get that stuff handled!

At this point, even with selecting the expedited service, it is highly unlikely that a passport application processed from this point forward will be fulfilled. It puzzles me some of the decisions and lack of research that takes place by some of the contestants - but I guess not every contestant puts in 100% to the entire process ....

The app doesn't seem to contain the "prior broadcasts" - or I am just not smart enough to find it.

I watched most of it yesterday. It was awesome when Nick said, "and Tommy is far far ahead, he has a huge lead!" Even better when Danny said,
"oh and Tommy goes off, Nooo. He has lots of points and he did really well on the autocross track yesterday so I think he's ok"
Something along those lines. Just need to wait and see what the final decision is!
I want my hair to grow faster so I can have an awesome Mohawk like @SileightyCyrus although I'm not so sure I could pull it off. I might look better bald! Lol

Speaking of going off, I tuned in just in time for your final race. Gravel traps man.
If only you guys knew what the rest of that race looked like. It was a mess. I was sitting in the rig just laughing the whole time. After the race, I got out of the rig and congratulated the dude that just whooped my ass. All three of em. lol. It was an epic fail! (I've always wanted to say that!!)

I've also just now returned home and wanted to say how cool it was to meet some of you guys! The time went by so fast and there was so much to do that unfortunately I didn't have time to meet everyone, but I was so impressed by how quick you guys were in the cars and how well you drove in those races. It made me really proud to know that so many of you were GTP members!
It was also a real honor to host the live stream with Nick, Eric, and Danny, and I hope those of you watching at home enjoyed the broadcast. It was a lot of fun and a lot of people worked very hard behind the scenes to make it possible, and my thanks goes out to all of them. We learned a lot and hopefully it will be even better if we get the opportunity to do it next year.
Finally, yes, the Academy officials are all working feverishly to make sure the top 12 are eligible before making any formal announcements. There is a lot of paperwork and logistics involved in pulling off this competition and they are doing the best they can to get the info out as soon as possible. 👍

i wish i could have shaked your hand, i was too concentrated on mentally preparing for my autocross run, time flew by soo fastI've also just now returned home and wanted to say how cool it was to meet some of you guys! Well I must say it was a pleasure meeting everyone in New York, a time I will never forget. Great group of people all around. Big thanks to all the people that made this happen.
I'll leave you all with this photo, It's my daughter, and my friend's boy watching the live stream, which is cool. However, the cool part is what my wife told me, “they just sat there watched for hours”.
That brought a tear to my eye, because for two kids one day in July in the year 2014, we all were the biggest thing in the world. Great job everyone!
