Well, that was rather drab...certainly a terrible one compared to that smashing Bahrain race.


Some parts in the beginning and the middle were not too bad. Had high hopes after seeing Massa's rocket start, but they were quickly shattered. Seeing how Alonso managed to catch up to the Red Bulls was temporarily exciting. I wondered if it would be a better race if the sudden loss of acceleration after the contact between him and Massa didn't happen, but I suppose they didn't really have much room to go into, after all...

Still, there were no great battles that stood out, though.

Part of the reason I don't watch the podium celebrations is that they're so cringe-inducingly cheesy. Honestly who thought the fanfare and the announcer yelling CHAMPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGNEEEEEE was a good idea?
