2015 Grand Prix de Monaco - All Results in OP

I just tuned in.

Why am I not surprised Maldonado is already out?

Sainz jnr. must be slightly emarassed to be outclassed by such large margin by a 16 year old in every race.

But he isn't, Sainz Outqualified Verstappen here but had to start in the pitlane because of missing the weigh bridge.

In the last race he also Outqualified and outraced Verstappen as well.

Re-fueling really would liven up this race a bit, a midfielder on low fuel up front multiple stops would be required.

40 laps in and still no sign of safety car or even a wall-hitting experience?

This is...something.

Well Maldonado got out in the first laps.

Poor Alonso, yet he's out and is still ahead of the Marussias. :lol::lol: EDIT: Not anymore.

Just to follow up; Alonso was told to turn his engine off after Alonso reported a gearbox issue.

Yesterday's failure was an MGU.

Verstappen's getting good press because of his age although, as somebody wiser than me has already said, if you're good enough you're old enough. That's all rather to the detriment of Sainz who has also turned out to be a star rookie (imo).

Carmen Jorda Watch Update: 48 laps and she hasn't appeared on screen. This is definitely a record.

The most exciting part of the race so far :D

Merhi complaining about being shown blue flags too early. Given that he didn't qualify (as far as I'm aware) he should probably wind his neck in.

She probably won't appear at all because the world feed is not done by FOM, a local TV station runs the feed. I enjoy that there are no focus on pit lane reactions and fan pan ins, just focus on the racing.

Perhaps they should be hired to cover all the races then. It's unusual to spend so much time looking at races cars on the race track.

Verstappen has a good strategy going. Stay with Vettel and use the Blue flags to his advantage.

Still no Safety Car. It would spice things up a lot.

Didn't think they played bleeped radio messages on air.

Sneaky Verstappen. :)

They didn't previously but then drivers/teams were deliberately swearing so that their transmissions wouldn't be played. Now the messages are bleeped they've gone back to ze codes.

Still think this from FP1 on Thursday is a contender for best coded message;
I love the radio chat between Lewis and his engineer in FP1;

Lewis: How was my Turn 1?

Engineer: I cannot comment on that.

Lewis: How's the weather?

Engineer: It's nice.

Coded messages, I guess. :lol:
