Penalties from race 7:

@Weider - 5 second penalty for incident with peir at L21 T16. Penalty will be added to the results of Race 8.

@TRL_Andromeda - Warning for avoidable contact with Nik at L7 T7.

I accept the penalty for my incident with Peir. In the spirit of fairness, I reported it to the stewards for consideration. However...

UA hit me Lap 4 at Silverstone from behind damaging my engine, forcing me to pit, and he doesn't even get a warning let alone the 25 second time penalty (in race 8) it deserves even though it was reported.

Lap 1 Turn 3, Agro hits me, damaging my car... Reported. Agro even admitted in the aftermath of the race it was worthy of a penalty. No warning, No penalty for Agro... Which stewards judged that one? It ruined my race...

Me, UA, and Nik judged that one. And it was deemed a racing incident because of 3 things:
it did not cause either of you any damage, it did not knock you off your line, and even tho we are agreed the incident was Agro's fault, is because you braked very early. Maybe not early for you, but definetley early for Agro, as even I was able to brake way later despite being on the inner side.

The incident with UA was stewarded by me, Agro, and Nik.
Yes, UA rear ended you really hard, and to me it was obvious UA should get a penalty. However, upon looking at the replay, you are only going half throttle out chapel, whether that is on purpose to let UA by or technical issues (gas pedal being stuck etc.) we wont go into. The fact is you eased off at an awkward place without obvious reason. So you where actually the one causing the colission.
Im actually curious about this one, And I would like to hear your reason for easing off the throttle there.

Agro did cause me damage, rear right. It made the car very difficult to control and I lost many places. Furthermore, that incident was worse than mine on Peir, and moreover, a driver got a warning for avoidable contact but Agro got none for hitting me.

Lap 4 incident I was not easing off and UA had plenty of time to see me. I did not swerve, there was plenty of space, and I did not cause a collison, I was hit square on from behind. Furthermore, in Race 1 I got two penalties for less, when UA swerved in my path and I had no time to react, and later when he braked heavily into a corner under blue flags with me right behind him.

Obviously there is some favourism going on here, or worse, a witch hunt.

Well, I was not stewarding the first 3 races, so I cant speak for those.
I have only judged based on what was shown on the replay, so if what you are saying are true, the replay is lying. on 2 occations.
I refuse to believe you could go that slow without easing off, so odds are there was som sort of technical issue on your end. That decicion cannot be overuled.

If you recieved damage for the rear hit by Agro, that incident would warrant a warning, but need to be re-checked from your replay, I'll PM you about the details.

I was slow because of a buggy room or a reason beyond my control but I kept a clean line and gave plenty of space, and UA had plenty of time to see me, a wide track (into Hanger Straight) that could fit three cars (three separate lines) and hit me square on the rear and damaged my engine and he gets off with no penalty.

But Agro hit me and I get blamed by the stewards for braking early? And worse the stewards are saying it would only be a warning if I had damage which I did have.

Arty hits Peir after they both reach apex at same time. Arty Penalty fine. No complains.

Agro hits Arty right rear from behind. Agro no warning, no penalty.

Maybe I should have hit the car in front and not received a penalty either.

Agro did damage my car, the right rear made the car very unstable, or do you stewards think I waved cars by for fun so I could get hit by UA.

Agro even said it was a slam dunk penalty for the incident on the first lap.

As for lap four with UA, it is clear he hit me with a wide track to aim at, and now he correctly assumed he has immunity with the stewards (this decision cannot be overruled).

Andro said he called that a penalty - so what of Agro, UA's teammate? When, in Race 1, UA brake sharply in front of me and I braked sharply to avoid him but couldn't, even though he was a back marker, Agro deemed it a penalty, Agro gave me a second penalty when UA swerved in front of me, going slowly in an acceleration zone early in the race and I hit him.

I want fair and impartial stewardship, instead I have to defend myself for clearly BEING HIT!

The problem is that the replay is not showing what you say happend. If you where keeping up the throttle, UA would have been penalized, if Agro inflicted you damage, he would have been penalized.

Your penalty was issued because what you pulled there was an outright divebomb, which is heavily frowned upon.
You would have gotten away with it if you had given the position back, but you didn't.

I would prefer if we can continue the discussion by PM. The thread is not for discussing specific incidents.

I accepted my penalty.

The problem is bias beyond belief. Even if the replay is bugged up, the fact UA or Agro received no warning at all (let alone penalties that they meritted) for the incidents shows foul play afoot.

I was clearly damaged and clearly gave way to a lot of drivers, including UA and yourself and Agro.

UA, spun or something ends up behind me, I had no reason to hold him up and I gave him space like before. He crashes into me probably due to his own frustration at spinning or what not, and hits me not even trying to avoid me, straight at me.

No 25 second penalty.

Arty, buddy... ITS A GAME! What is at stake here? Your contract for next year? No. A pile of money for winning the championship? No. Losing sponsorship? No! Being humiliated on international television or not making it into the F1 history books? No!!

Look at me, far and away the slowest driver (and oldest... I have T shirts older than most of you guys...not kidding). My goal every race is to NOT FINISH LAST, but I usually do. So what. I reported an incident for this last race where someone slammed into me and destroyed my engine on L1 heading into T3. No mention of it here. Now part of me doesn't care because I'm so far down the pecking order, but another part of me doesn't care because ITS JUST A GAME!! Even if I was within striking distance of winning the championship, what does it really mean? Bragging rights? Doesn't really interest me. I don't think there is any sort of bias going on here. I think the stewards try to do the best job they can and are usually right on the money.

Arty, you're an awesome driver... one of the faster guys out there. Try to remember, its just a game.

What now?

The only incident reports reported from silverstone was:
L1 T3- arty and Agro
L3 T16- arty and UA
L21 T16- arty and peir
L7 T7- Andro and Nik

It's principle. Stewards should be fair and impartial and this is not the first time they are not.

That is the problem. Some drivers are getting away with hitting others and that is not fair and when you delve into it, it is farcical.

If someone hit you and you reported it and action wasn't taken, that should tell you something.

Any further discussion about a specific incident within this thread will be rewarded with further penalties.

@Oliver Dragon : Your L1 T3 incident will be reviewed.
@Weider : Your incident with Agro will be re-reviewed, your incident with UA will not.

Hi everyone!

I'll be IN Race 8.

PD: Having drivers as stewards is quite risky. They may be a little bit biased in some controversial situations which they are involved (we're humans, not machines). Even in real life sometimes stewards don't make the best decisions.

You should have a clearer regulation for those situations. Sometimes things are more complex than what they seem.

Stewards' verdict: Arty reversed into Agro, then Arty slowed down so he could let nearly all drivers by, including UA, then caused UA to spin and then made UA crash into him.

Bravo.

Yes. It tells me that the stewards aren't perfect and s#!t happens. ITS JUST A GAME!

The problem with the statement, is that no steward has any say in an incident that he/she is included in. I had no say in the incident involving us. UA had no say in the incident at L3. This is basic policy. Opinions vary between everyone.
