They're not the same at all.

DK
I wonder if Snoop Dogg wants to buy one of those.
Aw hell yeah gimme 420 of those

I'm really interested by this:

Top Gear
This new system, says Audi, is constantly variable (although mention is made of a standard 42:58 front-to-rear split), and can apportion up to 100 per cent of the car's torque to either front or back,

Interesting how the V10 Plus has the same power output and similar performance to the Huracan. I thought it would be nerfed considerably so as not to intrude the performance of it's Italian sister.

Are you guys reffering to the actual grill mesh itself?
I'm not at least.... They've always had somewhat similar honeycomb style mesh, rather than diamond, which is not what I'm describing.

But rather how you see on the prologue concept, and many of their S models (Audi that is), they have horizontal slats, rather on the preview on the R8, it's horizontal, like many of Lexus' previous models.

I'm not really following you.

I guess it comes to this (please excuse the quality, it's all I have right now to explain):
Old 2008 R8 (Horizontal):

Any new Lexus (Vertical):

Now, you might argue that "Well all car's have horizontal edges, it has to stop somewhere." That's not what I'm getting at. Lexus has distinctively (and now since Toyota is using the design) introduced longitudinal grille styling (excluding the large front mesh) where they shove tall, slim boxes all over the front.
From POV, the R8 looks better with the latitude, horizontal leveled blades in the intake....

But it's not like it matters, because it wont be coming to the U.S. ...

Yet they have similar angles and are very slim.

You were the one saying this...

Audi corporate face headlights? You might want to check Audis most recent cars (A3/A6 facelift/A7 facelift/Q7/TT). They don't use exactly the same headlights for every car in their lineup.

The concept ones are LED strips. So... quite different. Way too slim to be similar, and way too "concepty".

And that's true, but it's likely they'll want to band their 2 sports coupes together. Marketing, y'know.

As I said, the lighting was poor so they could be the same, I just can't tell.

So what you're reffering to is the blades that sit in front of the Grille mesh.

One of them is build on the same platform as a Golf, A3, Seat Leon and Octavia.

The other one shares its genes with the Huracan.

I highly doubt the average TT buyer would know, or even care. And I fail to see how this is even relevant, because platform sharing or not, they're both sport coupes.

No... wrong group here....

You're thinking of the average American buyer, looking to buy a Camaro and saying "That's what's in NASCAR..."

I am over this cars design. Hopefully it doesn't look like these concept renders in the end. I was never a fan of the original, but i honestly think it still looks better than this. :indiff:

I love the new edgier styling and the digital dash. I'll take a V10 Plus over a Huracan any day.
