2016 F1 Fantasy-Prediction LeagueFormula 1

I'm in, but I'll be most likely revisiting again tonight after I get out of my class.

edit:

This looks confusing as hell, but I assume I must do this:
Make 5 picks before race, with bonus points before each session award (correct of course)

and that's pretty much all I know..

You just have to submit picks before quali, if you do so at certain times you get bonus points. The reason is because FPs give vital info on who is and isn't fast and thus those who don't use it should be awarded a bit more than those that do.

Winner(s) of the 2016 F1 Fantasy-Prediction Game: Australia GP

For the WDC* the winner for this first round is @ROAD_DOGG33J starting off quite well after finishing runner up in the WDC last year. He also won this round last year too. He gains two CP thus boosting him up to 14. Many people got DNFs for picking Kimi thus if you want (or feel lucky that he wont have troubles) you can pick him again without losing CP, for those of you new to the game. That goes for all DNF and DNS you may have picked this round. Another major pick but let down in points haul was Bottas, with only few picking his team mate who garnered more points this time around.

*the WCC will be posted later today once I get some issues fixed with my system that came up during scoring.

Sorry guys, I will not be able to post up the second part today, the issues with my computer are further than I thought and I may have to replace it all together, I've had enough power left on it today to do what I need to do as far as work and school and the forum go. But the system wont charge or maintain and thus after tonight I'll have to wait a few days to get back on.

I will have the new form up before the end of this week no matter if I have a new comp or not, I'll just end up going to the University and doing it there if need be.

Welp, that's an awful way to start off my title defense. The race was good though, so who cares?

I didn't want to say it until you posted something, but you didn't start off that great last season either and look what happened.

@LMSCorvetteGT2 don't think Magnussen was a retirement.

You're right the original results I used were from F1fanatic and they showed him DNF, but the official results at formula1.com show him finishing.

I'd adjust it but I don't have my actual computer...and thus am using someone else's just to get stuff setup for the next gp since I still wont have it back.

Two things, my computer is finally fixed so I don't have to use my wives sparingly anymore and thus will have the WCC points table up Today (3/31/16). Been busy with a lot of tests this week and early next so that's more of a priority right now.

Also those of us who picked HAAS are gonna lose :(. Has has finished -nearly- development of their car and wont be bringing updates to it after the third gp I think. This is due to the big shake up in rules for 2017 and starting work early on that car.

Trust me it's annoying, for us both. Since we both do school stuff, I had to download my programming stuff and she accidentally deletes it not realizing. So you can imagine what happens to my tables for this game. Plus my formats and what not I programmed into excel are on my computer, so it makes it easier to do.

Not sure why Alonso is still on the list. He's missing Bahrain due to fractured ribs and a partially collapsed lung from Melbourne.

Because this is the first I'm hearing about it, seeing as the news of this is very recent on the matter. The screen check was done within the past day or less, and we fans are barely finding out.

As for picks, those of us who did pick him can either submit a new pick form, or stick with it and Fernando's replacement Vandoorne will get counted instead with no loss of CP if he is able to race in China.
Entered my picks for this race, missed Melbourne....

Welcome back, the lowest score from the Aussie GP will be counted toward your current points.

Updated the roster with the points as well, gave @FutureF1 and @Swagger897 lowest points since they didn't submit picks. However, since they agreed to join the series, they both get a strike for when you miss a race. Thus if they miss two more races they'll be dropped from the championships.

Quick question, do I submit here, or PM you? Last week I was away from technology for quite the time, well during the race events at least.

First post has a built in link "2016 Pick Form", you click that and fill it out and you're good to go. Do it before quali at the latest, before FP1 at the earliest.
