The drivers, teams and marshalls in the supposedly highest tier in motorsport are afraid of a little water. If they were aquaplaning, I would completely understand having the safety car out or postponing the race, but this is just sad. Just plain silly to watch the "top tier" racing division not being able to handle less than optimal conditions.

Better safe than sorry.

Couldn't agree with you more, they should have started the race two laps ago.

Ok safety reasons... But they are looking too much into it, after F1 Monaco GP 8 laps done behind SC and it was time to get Inters when it got into the pits, now SC keeping deployed after 45 minutes with teams getting Inters meanwhile...
FIA being as stupidest ever...

Nothing against the Corvettes but Larbre should be using the succesor to this:

I'm going to start adding "blind whinging about safety cars" to the drinking game.

There are several reasons the SC is still out - the biggest one being the fact there are marshals on track. They've already given the call that the track conditions have cleared up, so it has nothing to do with standing water anymore.

While we're still waiting for the first green flag, are there actually any rumors/plans that Henry Pescarolo will return to Le Mans? Really miss the Pescarolo cars.

I KNOW RIGHT?

It breaks my heart seeing all this years his face on the gallerys and reports but no news about his legendary face returning to the paddock...

AND WE'RE GOING GREEN IN 3...2...1...! :gtpflag:
