2016 STORAGETRUNKS - IRT_NISSMANR32 CHAMPIONFinished

@J_Starscream - our race strategy almost paid off, we managed a nice second place finish:) ^^^^^

I drove the first stint as you can see by the slow best lap time of 1:14.927 shown as I enter the pits for the first time:

Then it looks like you drove the second stint as can be see the faster best lap time of 1:14.165 as shown as you enter the pits for the 2nd stop:

And I then I drove the Honda to the finish as can be seen by the slow finishing lap of 1:15.063 at the end of 90 minutes:

I guess it would have been better to let you drive two of the stints (and we might have caught Logic), so I guess I hogged too much seat time:ouch: Sorry!:D

In any case I had a great race trying to catch a very strong Logic:bowdown:

Fantastic test session yesterday guys, I really enjoyed the races as we all seem to be on very similar pace. I like the fact we can pass on straights and corners with all 3 cars which produced some epic racing yesterday at Spa.

It's been a while since I was this hyped for a series, can't wait to get started.

I would already start with these rules and regs this monday at NUR if you ask me. :dunce:

Thought I'd put my two pence worth in lol; I have to say although I only joined in for the last race off the night yesterday and only having maybe 10-20 mins to get a respectful tune working for me before the race was too start I was very very excited at the fact that half way through the race we were all within about 30secs or so, having a mixture of cars on the grid is brilliant in many ways overall I can't wait to start the next rules & regs...

Oh the only negative thing I can think off is that if for any reason the race was too not start at 18:30-18:35 the latest I would be running late for work I'll be pushing it at 18:30 normal race start time but I'm that keen on the series I'll happily run round like a headless chicken to get to work possibly run a few lights or and even people lol (that's a joke by the way big brother lol)

Daniel, dont worry, we have new procedures re entering race room etc that will help people see each other.

Details of the upcoming changes will be posted soon, to take effect after the race at Nordschleife on Monday.

I appreciate all the hard work work you've put into the transformation. That being said...because of my lack of skill, i do not want to be able to overtake a better driver because they're underpowered & carrying extra weight. It doesn't force me to learn new driving techniques or become a better driver. I don't believe driving well should be punished by putting an anchor in their car either. I may not be able to hit a perfect apex to be a top driver, but a 600hp high downforce race car isn't that hard to drive. At mid 500hp it's boring foot-to-floor for most of the race. Fast drivers should be allowed to be fast, & less skilled drivers should work harder, test more, and generally work for the skill necessary to compete with faster drivers (which i'm still working towards). This is not meant to be offensive. It's my personal opinion. I know everyone's excited, & I'm happy for you. No need to argue your points. I just felt the need to express why I'm dropping out of the series. The hp was the only thing that interested me in series. I don't care about winning. I just wanna have fun. I almost feel asleep at Spa. Thanks for the good racing. If you ever run a higher hp series that makes me work in the cockpit...I'll be happy to race with you guys again.

I'd also like to add...under these regulations...if a less skilled driver begins to learn & perform better, they'll be punished by adding weight for their efforts. This is no incentive for inexperienced drivers. The last 5 weeks I've been more excited to race than I've been in over a year. Such gr8 drivers. Such amazing respect for each other & ultra clean racing. I absolutely love racing with you all. I really hope that organisers will come around, and finish the series as it is. And develop a new vision for the NEXT series that rewards skill (which i admittedly lack...lol) and really gives incentive to less skilled drivers. I've recieved messages from others that feel the same way. They're just afraid to voice publicly. BUT....I really really do appreciate the effort of organisers to spend their time trying to better the racing experience. It takes amazing commitment for them to do what do. Let's just finish as is, and revamp for the NEXT series...please. there's only a handful of races left
