I appreciate all the hard work work you've put into the transformation. That being said...because of my lack of skill, i do not want to be able to overtake a better driver because they're underpowered & carrying extra weight. It doesn't force me to learn new driving techniques or become a better driver. I don't believe driving well should be punished by putting an anchor in their car either. I may not be able to hit a perfect apex to be a top driver, but a 600hp high downforce race car isn't that hard to drive. At mid 500hp it's boring foot-to-floor for most of the race. Fast drivers should be allowed to be fast, & less skilled drivers should work harder, test more, and generally work for the skill necessary to compete with faster drivers (which i'm still working towards). This is not meant to be offensive. It's my personal opinion. I know everyone's excited, & I'm happy for you. No need to argue your points. I just felt the need to express why I'm dropping out of the series. The hp was the only thing that interested me in series. I don't care about winning. I just wanna have fun. I almost feel asleep at Spa. Thanks for the good racing. If you ever run a higher hp series that makes me work in the cockpit...I'll be happy to race with you guys again.
I'd also like to add...under these regulations...if a less skilled driver begins to learn & perform better, they'll be punished by adding weight for their efforts. This is no incentive for inexperienced drivers. The last 5 weeks I've been more excited to race than I've been in over a year. Such gr8 drivers. Such amazing respect for each other & ultra clean racing. I absolutely love racing with you all. I really hope that organisers will come around, and finish the series as it is. And develop a new vision for the NEXT series that rewards skill (which i admittedly lack...lol) and really gives incentive to less skilled drivers. I've recieved messages from others that feel the same way. They're just afraid to voice publicly. BUT....I really really do appreciate the effort of organisers to spend their time trying to better the racing experience. It takes amazing commitment for them to do what do. Let's just finish as is, and revamp for the NEXT series...please. there's only a handful of races left
